Logan, Batch, and Marc Chevaliehhhhhhh sit at the geek round table for this month's Small Screen Heroes. Logan actually read a DC comic and loved it. Batch is ecstatic because it was a goddamn Flash book. Marc talks about Absolute Carnage, Logan talks Spider-Man: Life Story and it's conclusion/the overall run by Chip Zdarsky. Everyone is upset because Spider-Man is out of the MCU. The three dry their fucking tears to talk about The Boys for a bit. And scene.

Lots to talk about after Sunday's week 2 NFL action.  Key QB's go down(gross), some are awesome and others are just plain overrated.  PJ and TM get into it while they scream at the shitty Jets and Browns Monday Night Game.

Moreno and Law discover beer reviews online and they don't disappoint. They also review lots of TV (Succession, The Spy, The Duece, Unbelievable, Carnival Row) and film (The Great Hack, Kleptocrats, The Fanatic, Bill Burr: Paper Tiger) and even a touch of Literally Literary (The Testaments).

The boys also get word from their old buddy, Christian Tane in Toronto as he sends over his Top Five Films from TIFF.

He is one of the most influential filmmakers of our generation. If Steven Spielberg ruled the 80s, it is safe to say Quentin Tarantino owned the 90s. His story is almost as famous as his observations of the ways of European McDonalds. A video store clerk who used a few big breaks to his full advantage. But as myself, Jack, and Alyx go through his resume in this retrospective, we will observe whether that still stands true today. We will also review his brand new film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and answer whether it is as good as its trailers look.

By 2019, Quentin Tarantino was at a crossroads. He was no longer the young hot shot who reinvented the film industry with each subsequent picture. He was married. And, more prudent to his career, his boss over at the Weinstein Company Harvey Weinstein went from being one of the most powerful men in Hollywood to a shamed man accused of sexual abuse. Tarantino now had to take his projects to a different studio and redub his brand with a script that was unlike any other he has ever written.

Enter Sony Pictures. Given $100 million and free reign to do what he pleased, Tarantino nabbed past collaborators Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, not to mention past DiCaprio co-star Margot Robbie, to star in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, a vision unlike any other Tarantino has ever done in the past. But not less controversial.

Join myself, Jack, and Alyx as we finally discuss Tarantino's latest directorial vision, as well as talk about the controversies which permeate the entire production. After the build-up, what will we rate it?

Listen below to find out, and be sure to stick around for one more podcast, as the boys discuss written works not made by Tarantino himself.

Once Upon A Time in Hollywood (2019) (?/10, ?/10, ?/10)

C Chris gets back together with Law to tell him about big butted strippers and sexy middle aged astronauts. It's super steamy and gross. Join us for the super sneak peak of Ad Astra and stay for JLo getting down and dirty. Also gross. But not really gross because she's the hottest 50 year-old on the planet. Maybe. I'm almost 50. I have a big butt. Shut up and just go listen.
