You get into the car with your partner hopping in the driver's seat… Will you make it? Well, friends, that’s EXACTLY what Suzie is here for today, to tell us all about her beautiful birth. Suzie is a wife, mama of 3, and a birth doula! In her free time, she enjoys baking, going to coffee shops ALONE (felt mama), and hanging out with her sweet little family.

On today’s episode of Birth By Design we talk to Attorney and Best-Selling Author, Gina Mundy! Gina is an attorney who specializes in childbirth-related cases and she sees the tragic cases that we pray we never experience. It’s those tragedy-stricken cases, as well as some personal experiences, that inspired her to write a book on how to AVOID the mistakes she so often sees being the cause of the trials she is part of. 

In her book “A Parent’s Guide to Safer Childbirth” she highlights the different mistakes she commonly sees and gives you advice on how to make sure you never enter the courtroom. Listen as Darby and Gina talk about the most common factor in her cases, as well as how YOU can have a beautiful and SAFE birth experience!

Today we have the beautiful honor of hearing Karlee’s story of redemption after having a very traumatic first birth with her oldest. Karlee shares her story and brings us all hope for healing after trauma. I am so excited for you to hear this today! 

Karlee is a wife, mama of 3 precious boys, birth doula, business owner, AND teacher -- as if she didn’t have enough going on already! Karlee is here with us today to give a listening mama some hope that she, too, can reclaim her right to birth her way and find a beautiful story at the end of her pregnancy.

Dr. Butler is a mom, wife and chiropreneur. Her passion lies in helping families live vibrantly and educating others about the power of chiropractic. Fascinated by the body’s innate ability to self-heal, Dr. Jordan is particularly passionate about providing chiropractic care to families. She believes chiropractic to be the greatest gift of her life and feels so privileged to adjust mothers throughout the prenatal period and then also be a part of her baby's well-care team after birth.
