It’s September! And apparently the beginning of PSL season…This month we are talking about that mystery called work life balance. We’re kicking off by talking about what “work-life balance” means and why we should all be working towards. Oh yeah, and some September fun facts!

We are closing out August with a bonus episode (spoiler - there are 5 Wednesdays in August this year!). We are exploring Grief and how we can use fitness to help process and move through grief. This episode was inspired by Sydney’s personal loss at the beginning of the summer. We talk about some of our experiences and give some tips for how you can use your fitness to maintain some semblance of balance while grieving.

This week we are rounding out our month by looking at how to create inclusive fitness spaces for women. We’re talking about the barriers this demographic faces and how we can overcome them. We are interrupted by mispronounced words, Gracie’s sleep bubbles, and a little Barbie movie gushing. It’s a good time…

This week we are diving back into the world of pregnancy and post-partum! But we are looking at issues around these events specifically from a perspective of women of color. The unofficial title of this episode is “Yeah, that’s no good”, so buckle in for a bit  of a downer episode. This is a tough topic because there is a LOT wrong, but we do think it’s important to talk about it and spread awareness.

This week we are talking about the impact that representation has for folks when diversity is present in the fitness world. We are also highlighting some amazing women of color who are currently working in the fitness realm.
