In this episode Jeff and Phil are joined by their instructor and teammate Ryan Leggett. Ryan talks about his beginnings in jiu-jitsu, some of the struggles he encountered and how he over came them. We also discuss the role jiu-jitsu plays in his job in law enforcement as well as his love for the fundamental moves and the importance of trying to perfect them. We talk about how cleaning the mats has been a weird way Jeff has seen improvements in his game.

Episode 5 features Jeff and Phil's instructor Jon Plyler. Jon gives some great advice on how to be a better student of Jiu-Jitsu and shares some cool stories of training in Brazil.
