I had an unexpected surprise this weekend when I attended the presentation of Jon Meacham and David Kennerly at the Center for Creative  Photography. David Kennerlly and Jon Meacham were on stage to discuss the recent acquisition of Kennerlly's archives. These archives will now be at the creative center for photography at the University of Arizona in Tucson; Arizona. I would suggest that everyone that can if you're within 100 miles please come and see this fabulous exhibit.

In this podcast I will discuss two books that will help the black-and-white photographer not only become inspired but also improve their visualization in black-and-white photography. This is a short episode discussing why you should photograph in black-and-white. The podcast considers those things that you should take in the consideration when you photograph in black-and-white.

Color photography, is far easier to use as a photographic expressive medium. Black-and-white photography takes some work but using texture, contrast, shape, and composition black-and-white photography yields results that color cannot obtain.
