  • AUDIO: My Mother, Her Husband (The Child Molester) and I sit Down for a Long-Overdue Conversation

Transcription: Sunday, July 4, 2021, at 1:55 pm. I knocked on the door and stood there for over 5 minutes before Mama came to the door. She opened the bottom screen to the storm door and spoke to me through the door before finally coming outside.

    TRANSCRIPTION:

    Mama: Hey Robin.

    Me: Hey Mama.

Mama: Who you got with you?

Me: Andrea is in the car, but I am by myself.

Mama: Is anything wrong... I mean are you coming here to...

Me: I'm coming here to be peaceful?

    Mama: Are you sure?

    Me: I promise, I promise. I promise.

Mama: Let me come out here (She opens the door and comes onto the deck. The child predator stayed in the house)

    Me: OK.

Me: I really wanted to ask James something...Mama, I don't like none of this and I just wanted to see if we could clear the air.

Mama: Did you come here for peace or did you come here to start something?

Me: I come here for clarity.

Mama: Go over there and sit down (motioning to a lawn chair)

Mama: Mama, tell James to come out.

Mama: (at the same time) sit down.

    Mama: James.

Me: Just for a minute. I'm not trying to be here long.

Mama: I know. You can sit down if you want to.

    Me: I'm good.

    Me: You look pretty.

Mama: No I don't. Thank you though.

    Me: Hey James.

Me: All I wanted to do was to say to you...right now James (I became emotional)

    Mama: OK keep it together.

    Me: I'm keeping it together.

    Mama: You sure?

    Me: I promise.

    Mama: You sure?

    Me: I'm sure.

Mama: No you keep it together:

Mama: Sit down then. Sit down. Sit down. Stop it. Robin. Robin.

    James: Just get yourself together.

Me: When I came and we had that talk, remember me and James....

Mama: You get anything in your pocket recording.

Me: No, why would I mama?

Mama: I know how you do you do all these little tricks and stuff.

Me: Mama don't try to change the subject.

Mama: Go head, Go head but I ain't gon be recorded by no one.

Me: I want....Why would you care if you are in the right?

    Mama: I am but I...

Me I don't want to talk about that I just want to tell you (motioning to James) something.

James: Let her finish what she has to say. "Bunk" (what he calls my mother)

    Mama: Go head.

Me: Let me say this because I don't have time.

    Mama: Go head.

Me: I did not want to pop up on yal but this is what it is now. When I came and you and I talked (addressing James) and I said that I forgive you I meant it and you know I meant it with all my spirit.

    James: I know

Me: Then when wendy called and told me it had happened to Crystal and you'd told me that it didn't happen to nobody else after I told you that, "I forgive you and now it's all good.

Me: I just want to tell you (motioning to James) something

James: Let her finish what she has to say. "Bunk" (what he calls my mother)

    Mama: Go head.

Me: Let me say this because I don't have time.

    Mama: Go head.

Me: I did not want to pop up on yal, but this is what it is now. When we came and you and I talked (addressing James) and I said that I forgive you I meant it and you know I meant it with all my spirit.

    James: I know.

Me: And when Wendy called and told me it had happened to Crystal and you'd told me that it didn't happen to nobody else after I told you that, "I forgive you and now it’s all good.” I cannot…this is me now…and I know you remember…You Lied. And when you said you tried t tell Crystal and you said you could bring yourself to tell her, and I just let it go because I felt like I could understand why you could tell your daughter that….she already knew. So, from where I am standing, I am in a position where…everybody knew, and everybody pretended.

Mama: No you’re not cause everybody didn’t know.

Me: Mama, Wendy said she knew, Wendy told me that she knew.

Mama: I thought you came here to clear the air.

Me: I am clearing the air. You can’t tell me how to clear the air.

Mama: Well I can tell you.

Me: This is not me getting upset.

    Mama: It’s arguing.

Me: This is not….I want to know can you see where I am coming from knowing…?

James: Robin I am only about one thing and that’s forgiving and forgiveness.

Me: You would be because you need forgiveness.

James: I’m only about forging and being forgiven.

Me: Can I ask you this.

James: I can’t undo what I have done. I can’t make history all over. I done wrong. I’m sorry, and that’s all I can do. If you forgive me you forgive me. If Crystal forgive me she forgive me. If Wendy forgive me she forgive me if Bunk me she forgive me. I can’t undo the past. I have to just let it go.

    Me: I forgive you.

James: Because if I live in the past, I will be a dead man tomorrow.

    Me: I forgive you.

James: I’ll be a dead man tomorrow.

    Me: I forgive you.

James: You gone be a dead man tomorrow.

Me: Do you hear me? I needed to say that to you because the last forgiveness was based off of missing information.

James: Like I say, we gon just have to let it go and ask the Lord to forgive us. I spent a lifetime trying not to repeat my sins. I just cant…I can’t keep living in the past.

    Me: I agree.

James: It can only destroy me, Bunk, and everybody. Crystal and all of them, they decided to move on and just let it go. Cause they know you can’t change the past. We all made mistakes. We all have done terrible terrible things. Me, you…all of us done terrible things in our lives.

Me: I aint did no terrible things.

James: Thank God you haven’t, but it’s a lot of us. I’m not the only one…I have done terrible things and I am thankful that the Lord forgave me for those things and I was able to forgive myself and the people I done to. I haven’t been a saint. I’m I’m sorry.

    Mama: Robin you look good.

James: and I’m hoping you can get past all this.

    Me: Me too.

Mama: I look terrible. I mean thank you, I feel like I look bad. You know, I had told Wendy to tell you that I love you.

    Me: I felt like….Mama you stopped talking…..

  • Breaking the Unspoken Code of Silence / Family Secrets, The Fall Out From the Truth

I am writing a book called Maternaless Instinct. It's a true story that shines the light on how common it is for a woman to pick a child predator over the child. The first half of its episode reflects my thoughts at the beginning of the year in January. The last part of this episode reflects my thoughts this month. It’s a mad backward world we live in where the child molester is not punished and still has access to the Family…where the wronged get stoned and the silent treatment for telling the truth.

  • Follow-Up: If there was no evidence why where 15 Black People Locked up in the 1st Place?

Please copy, paste, and email the following questions to District Attorney, Lorrin Freeman. Demand Answers: [email protected]

QUESTIONS FOR DISTRICT ATTORNEY LORRIN FREEMAN:

When did framing people and locking them up on trumped-up charges become a personnel matter?

    1. Is it a coincidence that all the people charged are black?
    2. Why is the SBI only “assessing matters” to see if “Criminal” charges are called for…instead of both Criminal and Civil charges?
    3. Why do your initial statements automatically imply that the Detective is innocent, and the CI is guilty?
    4. What is the protocol for arresting someone based on information received from paid Confidential Informants?
    5. Is that protocol the same across the board?
    6. Were protocols skipped?
    7. Was there an urgency to bring the 15 individuals to trial?
    8. How does the RPD vet its CI's?
    9. Why didn't RPD test the drugs and view the video evidence BEFORE 10 people were arrested, as opposed to after they were arrested?
    11. Why did it take so long to discover that the evidence was fake?
    12. Are all cases involving Detective Abdullah being revisited to ensure that other framed individuals are not in jail?
    13. Shouldn't a seasoned detective know how to handle a CI?
    14. If the CI was able to trick a seasoned veteran detective, what does that say for RPD
    15. How are RPD officers reprimanded when they let evidence or lack thereof fall through the crack, causing individuals to be charged and detained for crimes based on fake evidence?
    16. How is arresting 15 black people on false charges using fake evidence JUST the CI’s fault?
