Episode 21: Following in T. Swift's footsteps we share 3 (not 30) important things learned before 30. Spoiler: they're not that profound. We break down the difference between jealousy and envy, then we ruin Clueless by introducing statutory rape into the storyline--although these hipsters are not the first to bring it up. And finally, there's the breaking down of the broke down queens on the current season of RuPaul's Drag Race. We're gagged!

Episode 20: We're crossing our fingers that Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman (well, maybe not her) do time for this college admissions bribery scheme. If black and brown parents are being convicted for falsifying residency records to get their kids into better school districts, then it's only right that Aunt Becky be treated with the same justice. This scheme has taken snowplow parenting--helicopter parenting 4.0--to another level. And, of course, these black hipsters are the only folks in the US that didn't go crazy over Jordan Peele's new movie Us. Winston Duke super fans please don't come for Shalwah.

Episode 19: Many states have already legalized marijuana either medicinally, or recreationally. But what will this mean if states with playgrounds like New York City and Las Vegas legalize the substance? This isn't really a debate because these hipsters more or less agree with each other. But many hipsters out there in the world probably won't. And, if you don't know Teddy Pendergrass by now, you better ask somebody...or just watch the documentary about him on Showtime. Who knew he was quite the star? Apparently everyone who lived in Philly in the 70's.

Episode 18: The "Leaving Neverland" documentary about Michael Jackson, and R.Kelly's explosive CBS interview with Gayle King led these hipsters to a conversation about slavery, racism, and whether Jackson was trying to keep his victim circle small by design. Also, are we going too far by indicting Jussie Smollett? Yes. Do people need to chill on trolling celebrities in their social media? Yes. Should Miley Cyrus ever "do" hip hop again. That's an easy nope. Miley, you are not (and never really were) invited to the cookout.

Episode 17: From Michael Cohen's testimony and R.Kelly's GoFundMe, to Bernie Sanders' 2020 presidential run as an Independent and not Democrat (???), lots has happened to wrap up February, and none of it compares to Amara La Negra putting roots on someone. Also, as RuPaul's Drag Race gains more popularity in mainstream pop culture, Drag culture is showing up in the unlikeliest of places. But has it truly changed the conversation around what is quality entertainment, or is it just good for a couple of buzz words and phrases when we want a laugh?
