How do you find your doctors. The idea of a directory came about when I started getting multiple request for the names of other black health cards providers. It’s been work putting it together. There have been naysayers. And just when I was starting to get tired, black women started speaking out .. And it was right on time.

The two girl friends had an idea for social change - a way to improve the lives of black women. They had the idea, but no money. What did they do? They received an Echoing Green fellowship. How was that possible? And is there racial equity in philanthropic funding?

On May 4, 2020 Ida B Wells was posthumously awarded a Pulitzer Prize for her reports on lynchings. On February 23,2020 a Black was shot and killed by 2 white men while jogging. Justice has yet to be served.
