It's Gladys again, and this time she is upset with her stupid grandchildren and wants a smart kid, so she decides to call up one of those sponsor a child programs for a few cents a day to get one, but nothing can work out so easily can it?  There always seems to be problems with the selection and shipping of children, and Gladys really runs into some.  How will she ever get her television fixed?  How can you tell if a child is intelligent from just a picture? Don't wipe your nose. Gladys has some ideas.

The background on this is that several times some old woman actually called me by mistake asking for her granddaughter, Jacklyn, so one night I decided to call her back as little Jackie myself, and she bought it! But I doubt her REAL granddaughter ever acted like this. It's all that bad TV that I watch. I'll tell you one thing, I would have paid a couple hundred bucks to have been there when the grandmother next talked to Jacklyn's Mom after hearing all that little Jacklyn had to say!

The modern world is miraculous to behold. What a truly amazing and great society we live in, where technology has advanced so much - that CDs are now available for dogs.  Hey now, don't protest, aren't dogs entitled to the same clarity, fidelity, convenience, and listening enjoyment that compact discs provide for humans? Dog's are actually lucky creatures aren't they, because they started right out with the compact disc. They didn't have to fiddle around with bulky and lame sounding 8 track tapes, hissy cassettes, or scratch prone records.  Nope... dogs jumped right to the CD, and apparently just in time too, because as it turns out - dogs are really stressed out - and CDs calm them down.  At least that is what one corporation that makes the dog CDs is saying, and corporations don't lie.

Before the Apple Iphone hit it big in 2007, the big deal was a phone called the Sidekick. The sidekick had issues though, in that Paris Hilton used it and it was very easy to hack it or copy your entire contact list.   Of course, all the celebrity telephone numbers on Paris Hilton's sidekick were released and copied and spread around the net in certain hacker communities within about an hour. Before any of the numbers were changed, I got a chance to look at the list and give Christian Slater a call.  Howard Stern even listened to it and talked about it and aired a very highly edited version without giving any credit.  This is the absolute full version.
