James and Aaron give a quick recap of the first 9 games of the 2022 season. There is a lot to be happy about, especially the ARM BARN!!! Cron and Joe are off to a hot start and we love the universal DH. There is nothing wrong with embracing success early, lean in and enjoy it. You are a fan after all. With that said, there are a few things to be worried about -- Starters, BRod and Chuck -- but that won't take away our happiness!  

Shelby Lackey is a dude! We start with his offseason in Arizona and the one time he faced Dom Núñez and his fun family connection with Ryan McMahon!. Lackey explains how one meeting changed his future at Pacific University. His approach to pitching has evolved over the years, from position player to starter to reliever. We are officially Arm Barn Advocates because of the names Lackey mentions not to sleep on. We talk about the mental side of the game and how important it is to have good teammates around you. Coach Lackey has a nice ring to it in the future and stick around to the end to find out what he would have on his menu!

It's officially countdown time! The minor league season begins Tuesday, April 5th. Rosters are set to be announced any minute now and our guys will be hitting the field. In our final pre-season podcast, we wrap up our Spring Training talk, identifying a pair of non-roster invitees who look to have a shot at making the Opening Day roster. We conclude by picking out some superlative titles like 'which prospect will hit the most home runs' and 'who will get the first call-up.' It's a blast.

Coco Montes drops life nuggets throughout the whole pod and we'd be lying if we haven't followed it! He isn't scared to show his excitement and it adds to his game, from his thoughts on batting gloves to his crazy superstitions! But he's more than that, he shares how he uses his tools, discusses how he started playing baseball with his grandma throwing seeds at him to hit. The talent in Florida was nothing to laugh at and Coco credit's the competition he had growing up to his success. We walk through his career, from High School to his time at College and the talent he was surrounded by there, to his professional career.

Kokoska, was drafted in the 10th round of the 2021 MLB Draft. Kokoska is working with the youth in his spare time and changing the culture of his small town all while training for his first full professional season. Kansas State was loaded and Kokoska took Wick yard. Zach's collegiate career started at Virginia Tech but ended in Kansas State, for the better.  Zach has never seen the movie Summer Catch and it makes Aaron feel old. Going from the Big 12 to AZL was a big transition but not with his bat. Kokoska was able to take some tips from Daza while he was down there and shares that experience, spoiler he will not grow Daza hair. As always, we end it with our fun questions!
