In this new Rooftop Mingle session, Evan is joined by Colorado Rockies 2024 17th round draft pick, infielder Nolan Clifford. At time of recording Nolan Clifford had just made his professional baseball debut... All the way up with the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes. He played a key role in an explosive come from behind victory where he had his first professional hit, RsBI, and runs scored. The former Creighton Blue Jay discusses his emotions, his time in the Albuquerque clubhouse, and his goals and expectations.

This week, Skyler and Evan present a conundrum that finally needs to be talked about. The Colorado Rockies and being frequently outnumbered by a sea of visiting fans at Coors Field. What has this organization done to foster a fan culture that would bring a wave of purple to the ballpark? On the bright side, Antonio Senzatela is back, the young bullpen has been very impressive, and your High-A Spokane Indians are the Northwest League champions!

In this new episode of Every Rockie Ever, Skyler and Dustin are joined by Purple Row writer and co-host of Affected by Altitude for Rocky Mountain Rooftop, Evan Lang. Evan has been a fan of the Rockies his whole life and therefore has an affinity for plenty of Rockies, often obscure ones. However his fandom helps him remember some solid players that may be forgotten at times. They talk about the solid two seasons from Jeff Cirillo at the hot corner, the ultimate utility man that was Terry Shumpert, and recollect the short-lived tenure of the hit machine Juan Pierre.

This week, Evan and Skyler are joined by Dustin "Mr. T-Spanish" Timmins to discuss the Rockies' problem with strikeouts. The Colorado Rockies are a league leader in strikeouts, and not in a good way as they are on pace to set a franchise high. Meanwhile, Kris Bryant is running out of time to return in the 2024 season... should he return at all? Should the Rockies just tear off the bandaid and let the $182 million dollar man walk away with the money and what's left of his health? Speaking of Rockies with back issues, what's to be done with Nolan Jones after a difficult 2024? Finally, we wrap things up with a discussion on Zac Veen, who is tantalizingly close to his big league debut.

In this new Rooftop Mingle, Skyler and Evan are joined by former 1st round pick Ryan Rolison of the the Albuquerque Isotopes. They talk about his journey back from multiple injuries over the past two years. Once considered the top prospect in the Rockies organization, Rolison seemed to be on the fast track to the big leagues because injuries robbed him of two years in the minors. Now healthy, Rolison has been working out the bullpen in Triple-A as he builds up again and hopefully will finally be able to come full circle and reach the big leagues with the Rockies.

This week, Evan and Skyler crack open the final month of the 2024 MLB season as the Colorado Rockies continue their youth movement, especially in the bullpen. Luis Peralta, Bradley Blalock, and Seth Halvorsen have all made debuts while September roster expansion has brought Evan Justice and Hunter Goodman back into the fold. Meanwhile, dread him, run from him... Ty Blach arrives all the same. We also check in on Drew Romo after his first two weeks in the majors, discuss the return of Jackson Holliday to Coors Field as a big leaguer, covet his brother Ethan as the next Rockies first round pick, and name our August Pitcher and Position Player of the Month! We wrap things up with a very special guest: left-handed prospect pitcher Ryan Rolison joins the show.

This week, Evan and Skyler discuss the youth movement of the Colorado Rockies as more and more we've been seeing the young guns-from pitchers to position players-get their names penciled into the lineup. Much of the starting nine is home-grown and frequently under the age of 26 as the Rockies focus on rebuilding in the dog days of summer. As part of that rebuild, the future of manager Bud Black must be discussed. The Rockies need a fresh vibe and voice in their clubhouse and it's time for Black and the Rockies to part ways after 2024. We follow that up with a special guest, as Spokane Indians third baseman and Rockies top prospect Kyle Karros joins us for a Rooftop Mingle!

There have been a lot of notable players to suit up for the Colorado Rockies. In the past we've talked about players like Michael Cuddyer, Justin Morneau, and Jason Giambi but there are have a been several others that were some definite legends that made a brief stop in Colorado. Skyler and Dustin look back on the Mr. 3000-esque appearance of Dale Murphy, the acquisition of Bret Saberhagen, the unfortunate stint of Roy Oswalt, the sneaky good performance of Kevin Millwood, and round things off with perhaps the most disliked player in Rockies history, Jose Reyes.
