Blerds Guide to the Galaxy

In this episode we are joined by stand-up comedienne and actor Brittany Dent as we dunk on Space Jam: A New Legacy (pun very much intended). She also helps us delve into the deeper question: Who asked for this? We look at other remakes and reboots that no one really wanted, wile getting distracted by Carmen: The Hip-Hopera, Marlon Wayans, and The Last Airbender Movie. You can follow Brittany on Instagram: @brittanydoescomedynow.

This week we are talking about the Netflix animated series: Castlevania. This show is based on the videogame series of the same name, and we all really enjoyed it. We talk about our favorite characters, our favorite moments, and what the show does for elevating the genre. Along the way we get distracted by Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure, butter beer, and Captain N. It's Trevor, not Trefor.

It's Ples's Birthday! We celebrate by letting him pick the topics for this episode. We talk about recent news about the MCU, question where the new news for the DCEU could be, and then Ples asks Bryan and Maurice about their favorite things. We get distracted discussing the danger of mutants, how Marty McFly is a loser, and ask 'Who can beat the New X-Men from the mid 2000's'? Come get some cake! (The cake is a lie.)

Get out your omni-tools and give your moogle a high-five, this week we're talking about our favorite RPGs. See if your favorite RPG made our list of favorites and honorable mentions. We also get distracted by Bat Babies, Star Wars, Zack Snyder's Justice Lords, and Avatar 2? Does anyone know if the Avengers have killed any of their main bad guys?

While doing our best not to get pruned, we sit down and recap the Loki series on Disney +. We talk about our favorite parts of the show, and how it ranks compared to the other Disney + series that have been released so far. We also take a look at the potential future of the MCU. Gundams, Digimon, Andrew Lloyd Webber, the Martian Manhunter and the concept of time distract us along the way. Which Loki variant is your favorite?

This week we take a look at the extensive library of Hanna-Barbera cartoons. With such  a long list, we are only discussing the cartoons from the 50s through the 70s. But we get distracted by Pauly Shore, the Ghostbusters extended universe, new cartoon mash-ups, and the X-men comics. Help, help! Here come the bears! Let's split.

Get out your blasters and lightsabers, this week we're talking about Star Wars! Specifically the Old Republic. We focus on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, as well as Star Wars: The Old Republic games from BioWare. But we get diverted by  National Treasure, college fraternities, doing the Mario, and Batman not giving face time. The Force is strong with us.

This week we celebrate Maurice's birthday! He's in charge, so we talk about the topics he wants. Some of the topics we discuss: tipping while black, old jobs, the fact that Goku is not a hero, the strongest member of the Justice League, Live-action Disney movies, and underrated villains. Come get some cake and punch and wish Maurice the best on his day!

Grab your power rings and lassos of truth, this week we are talking about the Justice League animated series. From the voice casting to our favorite episodes, we talk about everything we love about this great series. We also get distracted by the Wuzzles, the Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan, and some news about upcoming Marvel and DC movies. Stock up on your Riddler Mountain Dew while you can!

This week we talk about muppets. We talk about their influence on pop culture, our favorite muppets, and or favorite muppet movies. And we get distracted by The new X-Men team, the god Zeus, Usherbucks, and Disney princes. Remember to ask yourself: Why are there so many songs about rainbows?
