Arden negotiates the party a new designation as a "repair crew" and the last to leave the spire Therrin requests a "Project Porcello" be initiated to save the Cross.

The party negotiates for a new cart, healing aid for their temporary traveling companions, and finds an welcoming place to stay the night. Before they leave for the spire Arden has a cryptic conversation with a knowledgeable historian who takes a special interest in Sam' spear and the party's next destination even going as far to offer them a map of "safe" travel through the cursed desert north. Bata makes a point to deter the desert and continue onto the Tempus spire instead quite confident they need not endanger themselves there or deal with the Order magi skulking about the spires therein.

Therrin discovers that they are what the Bisemutum elders refer to as a Spire-Woven while the process that Arden and Zaus experienced would indeed rush jobs leaving them with limited benefits by comparison. Bata encourages Therrin and Zaus to take part in the hunt and Arden presses that they want to be nearby encase assistance is desirable for their safety.
