The long-awaited telegram from Muck’s family arrives. Blister takes steps to conceal the message from Muck. Meanwhile, Rip loses control of his killer instincts.

Blister struggles with opeRATive life when Madam Putreska takes the team to the beach for martial training. At the same time, Muck rises to a new level of prestige. And, two of the addled animals resume speaking.

Blister tries and fails to corner Dr. van Sangfreud. His frustrations spill over on Muck. Before he can make amends, he has a face-to-fang confrontation with the escaped circus panther.

Orville Whitmore shares an unfathomable fact about Dr. van Sangfreud. Blister makes a mistake and Fleet enters into a bad agreement.

Blister and Madam Putreska investigate the rhino theft at the Blaakrust Zoo. While there, Blister reunites with some familiar faces. And, Orville Whitmore reveals his ties to Dr. van Sangfreud.

The rhinoceros is stolen from the Blaakrust Zoo. At the same time, opeRATives discover Dr. van Sangfreud is no longer dealing in rattrap devices. Meanwhile, Blister resolves to dissuade Muck from reuniting with his family in Europe.

After Spindle delivers Blister’s note, Madam Putreska realizes Muck is the missing member of the Furbanks family she helped relocate to Europe. She dispatches a telegram to them before intercepting the rats at the Furbanks’ former residence. There, she shines light on the fire’s true source.

Muck discovers he is not the sole survivor of the fire that wrecked his posh country home. Overjoyed, he drags Blister out of Blaakrust on journey to be reunited with his whole family.

At a Christmas Eve gathering, Blister, Muck, Spindle, Seltzer, Horchata, Rip and Gorgeous George argue about whether or not Santa Claus exists. Not even Madam Putreska can quash the quarrel. Everything changes with the arrival of an unexpected, yet gifted guest.
