Muck and Seltzer are at loggerheads. Muck demands Blister’s help on a quest to investigate evidence which suggests his family may be alive. However, Seltzer wants to interrogate Blister about the treats that lured the wharf rats into the bell tower.

Back in the bell tower, Muck and the pigeons have a surprise in store for Blister. While games and revelry ensue upstairs, menacing invaders infest the cathedral.  

Blister attempts to resume his scientific experiments with the Lady Jana. Before he can track her down, he encounters Dr. van Sangfreud. Or…someone who looks a lot like the wicked animal zapper.

Blister and Muck battle cats, animal handlers, and more to seize the stolen panther from Dr. van Sangfreud. Their efforts take some unexpected turns when they enlist help from a chimpanzee troupe. Meanwhile, the circus elephants misunderstand Gorgeous George’s instructions and carry out a show-stopping finale!

Dr. van Sangfreud deploys a cat cadre to restrain Blister, Muck, and the opeRATives. Henchman Vexler Q. Drummal absconds with the circus panther. Before departing, the doctor reveals some of his sinister motives.

Dr. van Sangfreud arrives at the circus. To prevent him from abducting any animals, Blister, Muck, and the opeRATives enact a hasty scheme. Unluckily, a hard-of-hearing elephant slows them down.

OpeRATives infiltrate the circus. While acting as spies, Blister, Muck, and Madam Putreska encounter three beasts capable of unraveling their animal rescue operation.

Blister and Muck hijack a sailboat and take up piracy. Meanwhile, a circus arrives in Blaakrust. Madam Putreska hatches a plan to rescue its captive animals.

Jana’s experiments almost yield results. She rewards Blister with a smorgasbord. Blister cons Muck and Seltzer so he can break the bell tower’s number one rule.
