🚨 Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao challenges the U.S. Department of Justice’s claim that he is a flight risk and may not return before his sentencing. Zhao opposes the government’s attempt to restrict his travel back to the United Arab Emirates to be with his family after pleading guilty. 🚀 ETH Whales: Crypto analyst Ali Martinez shared on Twitter https://tinyurl.com/bd7m8m58 that Ethereum whales have been notably active in the crypto market in recent days. On-chain data from Glassnode indicates that these whales have been consistently accumulating the altcoin for a consecutive period of nine days. He highlighted that this is the first 9-day accumulation spree in over nine months.

The issuer of the Islamic coin, Bored Gen DMCC, has fully cooperated with the ongoing investigation by the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority regarding the token’s issuance and distribution. 🔴 Philippines to sell $179M in tokenized treasury bonds for the first time The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury is opting for innovation by offering 10 billion pesos ($179 million) in tokenized one-year treasury bonds, in lieu of the initially planned traditional auction on November 20. These bonds, available to institutional buyers, come with a minimum denomination of 10 million pesos and increments of 1 million pesos. The state-owned Development Bank of the Philippines and the Land Bank of the Philippines (Official) will issue the bonds, with a maturity date set for November 2024. The final interest rate will be disclosed on the issuance date.

🔴 Turkey is contemplating regulatory measures for its cryptocurrency market, with a specific emphasis on licensing and taxation. The objective is to facilitate the country’s removal from the “grey list” of the

Zubin Singh Koticha and Alexis Gauba, the co-founders of the Opyn decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, have announced their departure from the project and their exit from the cryptocurrency space. This decision was conveyed through a statement from Koticha, posted on social media on November 14. The announcement follows the resolution of an enforcement action by the United States Commodity and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) against Opyn about two months ago.

🎼 Disney has created a nonfungible token (NFT) platform together with Dapper Labs.

❗ Disney announced the launch of Disney Pinnacle, its NFT marketplace. The platform will feature tokenized versions of classic cartoon characters spanning a century, including Pixar icons and Star Wars heroes and villains. 🥶 Swan Bitcoin, a platform facilitating Bitcoin exchange, recently decided to close accounts of users engaging with mixing services. The company attributed this action to mounting pressure from banking institutions, prompted by a proposal from the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, US Treasury (FinCEN) to heighten record-keeping obligations on such transactions.

🔹 Yan Pritzker, co-founder and CTO of Swan Bitcoin stated that while the company itself has an open policy for allowing coin mixing as a privacy service, there is no way of on-ramping customers with fiat without connecting to qualified custodians and banks.

The ERC-4337 standard was introduced unexpectedly on March 1 during WalletCon in Denver. Back then, there was a hopeful outlook that “smart accounts” would quickly gain popularity. These accounts offer a way for users to skip using seed phrases and signing for specific transactions, leading to an overall improved user experience on blockchains compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). 🔥 FTX’s bankruptcy estate, led by CEO John J. Ray III, has initiated a legal action against Bybit, along with its investment arm Mirana and several executives. The objective of the lawsuit is to reclaim funds and digital assets that ByBit allegedly withdrew from FTX shortly before its financial collapse. The current estimated value of the assets in question is approaching $1 billion. 🥶 Binance has seized assets totaling $11.8 million that were owned by clients who fell victim to a kidnapping scheme. In a recent announcement on X, CZ revealed via Twitter (now X) here https://lnkd.in/dPcK3h8i that executives from a client company were lured into a deceptive business trip to Montenegro, where they were abducted and compelled to relinquish all holdings in their cryptocurrency wallets. In total the bad actors were able to obtain approximately $12.5 million dollars worth of digital assets from their victims, which were all converted to USDT and moved to a TRON wallet.

In the United States, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has a “window” to approve all 12 spot Bitcoin ETF filings, including Grayscale Investments’s conversion of its GBTC trust product in the days leading up to Nov. 17, but stressed this was only possible.

a local report from Kursiv News. Coinbase, websites tied to the New
York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and Interactive Brokers were also
bannedReports from various regions in Kazakhstan suggest that Coinbase, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has been restricted due to its alleged violation of paragraph 5 of Article 11 in the Digital Assets Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This particular clause pertains to regulations concerning the issuance and sale of unregistered cryptocurrency securities, as outlined by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Culture and Information.
