Swedish House Mafia is swinging for an ace with their newly announced live show at Arthur Ashe Stadium in September of this year, a historic first for both the group and the iconic Queens venue. The show comes as part of what the trio is calling their “3.0 era,” a phase launched with the release of their recent single, "Wait So Long."
The performance will mark the trio’s largest New York City show to date, transforming the 23,000-capacity home of the US Open into a cathedral of dance music’s most enduring anthems. From headlining Madison Square Garden in 2011 to closing Coachella's main stage in 2012, the Swedish supergroup has consistently pushed the boundaries of what dance music shows can be. But even by their lofty standards, Arthur Ashe represents uncharted territory.
Fans began speculating after mysterious Swedish House Mafia billboards appeared in Times Square last month, and now the rumors have been confirmed with full fanfare. In partnership with PLUS1, the show also carries a deeper resonance as $1 from every ticket sold will benefit organizations serving those affected by the events of September 11th, 2001 with Swedish House Mafia will matching the final donation.
The presale begins at 10:00 AM local time on July 23rd, 2025. Ticket registration is available here.

Following a breakout year filled with sold-out shows and major festival sets, EDM.com Class of 2024 artist Of The Trees is channeling his vision into something deeply personal: a music and nature experience tucked into the heart of the San Juan Mountains.
Camp Alderwild comes to Telluride, Colorado, from August 22–23, 2025, blending cinematic bass, sustainability, and natural beauty in a setting unlike any other. The event is co-produced by Planet Bluegrass, Colorado’s leader in eco-conscious events, and AEG Presents, one of North America's top live music promoters.
Here’s everything you need to know before making the trip.
What Is Camp Alderwild?Camp Alderwild is a curated two-day music and camping experience created by Of The Trees to bring fans closer to nature and each other. Designed as both a communal gathering and a creative statement, the event blurs the line between festival and art installation, reflecting the ethos of Memory Palace—the genre-fluid label and artist collective Of The Trees founded during the pandemic. The result is a destination rooted in atmosphere, sound design, and intentional storytelling.
The LocationCamp Alderwild will take place at Telluride Town Park in scenic Telluride, Colorado. With a limited capacity of just 7,500 attendees, including 2,200 campers, the event offers an intimate experience set against a surreal alpine backdrop. The venue is just minutes from downtown Telluride, making it easy for fans staying in town to walk between their accommodations and the festival grounds.
How to Get ThereThe most convenient airport for travelers is Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), which offers direct flights from Denver and other regional hubs. From there, it’s a scenic 90-minute drive or shuttle ride into Telluride. Driving from Denver takes about five to six hours, and while a car may be useful for exploring the surrounding San Juan Mountains, it’s not necessary for navigating town.
Once in Telluride, most attendees can walk between the venue, accommodations, and late-night spots. The free Telluride gondola connects the town to Mountain Village and operates late into the evening, offering one of the most unique public transport systems of any festival town in the country.
This year’s lineup features Of The Trees headlining both nights—one set boasting all-original material, the other rooted in the aesthetic of his Memory Palace imprint. Joining him on Friday are Jade Cicada, Thought Process (Live), Taiki Nulight, and Curra, setting the tone with layered bass, psychedelic textures, and cinematic energy. Saturday’s programming continues that trajectory with performances from Tycho (Live), Ott., EPROM playing a special Underclock set, and Air Castles, culminating in an Of The Trees’ closing set under the stars.
Tickets and CampingTickets are available now, with several tiers and camping options to choose from. The current 2-Day General Admission pass is priced at $218.02 and includes access to both days of the festival. The most popular camping package, Lawson Hill Camping, is priced at $332.47 and includes a 2-Day GA pass, shuttle transport to the festival grounds, and a designated campsite just outside town.
Town Park and Zone 1 camping—both closer to the main venue—have already sold out, along with all available vehicle camping passes. Travelers not camping will need to explore local lodging options, including hotels, inns, and vacation rentals via platforms like Airbnb and VRBO. Given Telluride’s small size, accommodations are limited, and early booking is strongly encouraged.
For those seeking convenience, the entire downtown area is within walking distance of Town Park, allowing fans staying in central Telluride to fully enjoy the event without needing to drive or shuttle in.
Late-Night ProgrammingOnce the main stages power down, the music continues in downtown Telluride with a slate of curated afterparties and pop-ups hosted at select venues. Expect underground sets, interactive art, and surprise B2Bs in intimate settings. These late nights are fully walkable from the campground and core hotel zones, making the entire town part of the festival atmosphere.
Tips for PreparationSituated at an elevation of 8,750 feet, Telluride’s thin mountain air can affect even seasoned travelers. It’s recommended to arrive a day early if possible, drink plenty of water, and take it easy during the first 24 hours to avoid altitude sickness. Limit alcohol, bring a reusable water bottle, and consider electrolyte tablets for added hydration.
Weather can swing dramatically—from warm sunny afternoons to chilly mountain nights. Pack light clothing for the daytime, but don’t forget layers, a hoodie, or an insulated jacket, as well as durable footwear. Conditions can dip into the 40s after sundown.
Telluride’s culture is deeply rooted in sustainability. Local bans on single-use plastics mean attendees should bring reusable bags and water bottles and be mindful of waste at all times. Visitors are also encouraged to respect the town’s small but vibrant community—be kind to workers, tip generously, and treat Telluride like the special place it is.
Camp Alderwild puts sustainability at the forefront. Every ticket includes a $1 donation split between the National Parks Foundation and Sierra Club, supporting ongoing environmental and conservation efforts.
The festival is also launching a Propeller campaign that rewards fans with exclusive experiences, upgrades, and giveaways in exchange for taking simple climate action ahead of the event.
Memory Palace: The Label Behind the VisionCamp Alderwild is the physical embodiment of Of The Trees' Memory Palace label. With a focus on genre-defying bass and immersive storytelling, the imprint has hosted curated events in Brooklyn and Denver and released music from artists like Freddy Todd, BLAAP, and Thought Process. This summer, it all comes to life in the alpine forests of Colorado.
You can buy tickets to Camp Alderwild here.

Flume and Emma Louise may have titled it DUMB, but their next collaborative chapter sounds anything but.
The Grammy-winning producer is returning August 22nd with DUMB, a full-length project alongside Australian singer-songwriter Emma Louise. The project marks Flume’s first long-form release since his 2023 mixtape, Things Don't Always Go the Way You Plan.
View this post on InstagramA post shared by Flume (@flume)
The announcement arrives with the project’s lead single, “Easy Goodbye,” a shimmering detour through emotional wreckage. The track fuses his signature glitch-and-surge production with Louise’s breathy, delicate vocals. It’s a parting song in every sense, with warbling synths and fractured textures swirling around melancholic lyrics.
Flume and Louise previously teamed up for "Hollow" on Palaces, but this time it’s more personal. As Billboard notes, Louise, who grew up undiagnosed as neurodivergent, refers to DUMB as an act of reclamation. "At first, naming the album DUMB felt irreverent and freeing, but later I realized how deeply it connected to my own fear of being seen as stupid and unworthy," she said. “This album is me reclaiming that word, letting go of shame, and promising myself I’ll never abandon my voice again."
You can listen to "Easy Goodbye" ahead of the full album release on streaming services here before the album is released on August 22nd, 2025.

Above & Beyond have triumphantly returned to the spotlight with Bigger Than All Of Us, one of their most introspective and meticulously crafted projects to date. It’s an expansive tapestry that interlaces their emotional acumen with an unmistakable sense of collective purpose.
“This album is us appreciating how amazing this thing we have is. The realization of how lucky we are that we get to be part of something like this for 25 years, and to have built a community that cares for each other in the way it does," the group remarked in a press release shared with EDM.com. "When we all work together to make something happen, something bigger happens.”
Clocking in as Above & Beyond’s fifth fully electronic album, Bigger Than All Of Us represents the return from their lengthiest intermission since Common Ground in 2018. That gap has imbued the trio with renewed vision, distilled through varied individual side endeavors and reconvened synergy.
The album unfurls with each track mixing seamlessly into the next. “Carry Me Home” with Zoë Johnston ignites with ascending beats and cathartic vocals pleading, “can you lift me up?” over its trance-club backbone, delivering unadulterated bliss. Later on, “Blood From A Stone” featuring Richard Bedford diverges into euphoric drum & bass, with Bedford’s nostalgic lyricism resonating in tandem with feel‑good production. “Here Before” with Oliver Smith & Opposite The Other juggles sweeping cinematic trance with electrifying house layers, injecting raw dancefloor energy. Finally, “Lullaby” closes the journey, unhurried and reflective, nurturing the album’s message: the scene transcends any single performer.
Vocal contributions from both long‑standing partners like Zoë Johnston, Justine Suissa, and Richard Bedford, as well as fresh collaborators Victoria Horn, Malou, Oliver Smith, Opposite The Other grant the album both depth and novelty. The sequencing underscores Above & Beyond’s expertise in emotional dynamics and energy modulation, engineered to be consumed in a single, immersive sitting.
As intended, Bigger Than All Of Us is a testament to the power of community in dance music’s ever‑evolving puzzle.

DJ DIESEL's reign over bass music continues with M.D.E (Most Dominant Ever), a nine-track barrage of dubstep, drum and bass, and trap hardwired for the mosh pit. Out now via Monstercat, the EP stakes his claim not just as a crowd-destroying headliner, but as a collaborative force in bass music’s new era.
From the jump, M.D.E hits all the dubstep high notes with precision. The title track, a cinematic team-up with RZRKT, opens with ominous tension before detonating into a flurry of relentless dubstep drops. "Animal" follows with SampliFire and IVORY, where Shaq delivers a tight, paced rap verse before the production claws straight into tearout territory. The record never really lets up after that.
One standout single, "Damage," a collaboration with Virtual Riot, is the most unpredictable of the bunch. What starts as an unassuming acoustic guitar intro quickly veers off course as Shaq’s vocals sear through, and the track spirals into a drum and bass section that feels both polished and punishing.
"Run It" and "Fadeaway" raise the bass bar further. On the former, Diesel trades slick robotic synths and a scathing verse before letting the drop fly. On the latter, an earth-shattering link-up with Benda takes things to the edge with a thrashing build that gives way to a catastrophic drop. It’s arguably the heaviest-hitting track on the record.
"Bring the Pain" throws a techno curveball mid-track while the album ends with "Show Em," a finale that ties the whole project together. Shaq delivers one last warning: "We gonna show 'em how it’s done," over razor-cut sound design.
"This project is bigger than just music. M.D.E is a celebration of the culture, of the moshpit, of the bass community," said Shaq. "Every artist on here brought the heat, and together we made something that hits hard and brings people together. That is what this scene is all about."
Beyond the sheer weight of the drops and the refined pressure and chaos that defines M.D.E, this EP is packed with chemistry: the product of real-life friendships and mutual respect between artists. It creates space for the next wave of bass producers to shine inside that arena. M.D.E is a cross-stitch of bass music’s most impactful sounds, all strung together by someone who knows how to work a crowd and isn’t afraid to throw himself into the pit to prove it.
With the EP now out in the wild, Shaq continues to dominate 2025. His Bass All-Stars events are set to hit Florida, California, and Oregon. He recently kicked off a Las Vegas residency at The Wynn and will soon appear at iconic venues Pacha in Barcelona and Bootshaus in Germany.

GRiZ has delivered yet another heavyweight track in his 2025 comeback, teaming up with UK mainstay Flowdan for "Coast 2 Coast." Long circulated as a sought-after GRiZ ID, the track now arrives in full as a reimagined cut featuring a brand-new topline from Flowdan.
The track opens with zero hesitation and launches straight into the instrumental, stacking anticipation before Flowdan steps in and locks the pace. His unmistakable delivery, cool and commanding, cuts through immediately. Named one of EDM.com’s best electronic music producers of 2023, Flowdan has long been a defining voice in bass music, though newer fans likely discovered him through tracks like "Baddadan." Here, he holds the reins, chanting "Green light go, green light go" with a kind of menacing patience before the first drop lands.
What follows isn’t an explosion, but tightly controlled electricity. The bass hits in clipped, distorted bursts, broken up by warped textures, but Flowdan never breaks his stride. His vocals glide throughout, anchoring the track while everything around him cracks and warps.
The instrumental section of "Coast 2 Coast" first surfaced during GRiZ’s hiatus. It was passed between artists like Subtronics, Tape B, Wooli, and Levity, and quickly became a staple in sets on the bass music circuit. In its final form, the single pairs Flowdan’s raw vocals with GRiZ’s festival-minded production. It is focused and built for sound systems that can take a hit.
A visual directed by Zach Okami accompanies the release, pairing Flowdan’s vocal presence with stylized cuts, heat maps, and hard shadows that match the track’s heavy weight.
Following his surprise Gemini EP, the explosive "Chaos Theory" with Wooli, and sold-out dates still ahead including Seven Stars Festival, GRiZ is keeping his foot firmly planted in his 2025 comeback with the release of "Coast 2 Coast."

While major labels are busy chasing TikTok trends and bedroom producers dream of viral moments, a humble group of artists quietly uploaded their remix of A$AP Ferg's "Work" to SoundCloud in late-2024. None of them could've predicted what happened next in 2025.
Back in September, Proppa, Rich DietZ and Smith & Sorren transformed Ferg's 3x-Platinum hip-hop anthem into tech house gold. With a bassline as thick as a bowl of day-old oatmeal, the rework blew up organically across the world and continues to be played live by Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, Kaskade, Dom Dolla and many more elite DJs.
Tiësto was one of the remix's earliest supporters, at one point calling it a focal point of his live performances after an interviewer asked: "2025, what's the song that you play in your set, like 'They're gonna go crazy as soon as I play this song?'"
Now, the Dutch electronic music icon has granted the track official status by releasing its revamped version on his storied record label, Musical Freedom, validating months of grassroots momentum. The track, out today, demonstrates how underground dance culture still dictates mainstream taste despite the industry's desperate attempts to reverse-engineer virality.

Justice and Kaytranada have announced a co-headlining North American arena tour.
The surprise reveal landed with little warning and no official details, just matching story posts that sent fans into a frenzy. What followed was an official announcement revealing a month-long run across the United States and Canada this fall.
View this post on InstagramA post shared by JUSTICE (@etjusticepourtous)
Justice is fresh off the release of Hyperdrama, their first album in nearly eight years. The project finds the French duo diving even deeper into their dense, analog-rooted sound, this time with a sharper cinematic edge. Kaytranada, on the other hand, continues his streak of understated dominance with TIMELESS, a record steeped in rhythm and rich with collaborators ranging from Childish Gambino to Rochelle Jordan.
Justice and Kaytranada are a dominant pairing, and seeing them share a bill promises an experience that could be as memorable as it is groundbreaking. Both are known for crafting live sets that leave a lasting mark, with production choices that reflect clear creative identities. Justice leans into distortion and grandiosity, while Kaytranada thrives on bounce and feel. Even with contrasting styles, the chemistry feels inevitable.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025, at 10 AM local time. You can learn more about the collaborative tour and purchase tickets here.
