  • CIVIL UNREST
The sun rises and sets on a daily basis. In 2020 just as the sun rise and set, another black male is gunned down by another ruthless police officer. In the Black Community, WE KNOW ALL COPS ARENT BAD but we also know all COPS AINT GOOD. America is fighting two pandemic in 2020, covid 19 and racism. They both seem to be killing black Americans at a faster pace than any other race in the U.S.  We know that the police is suppose to PROTECT and SERVE. The question that raised now in 2020 is who are they protecting and who are they serving. The black community has more mistrust in the concept of protecting and serving. America, oh America, before it's too late, we ask that you hear our cry. Time is ticking, chickens are coming home to roost, are we ready for the end result. Join us tonight on Blogtalk USA AND LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD.

  • Gumbo Talk: Basic Training for Black Males
oining me live will be Carlton Mayers II a Policing Policy Refform Extraornaire that can expound on this topic like no one else I know. We will give you lessons and experiences to help black boys and black men to hopefully live beyond interactions with the police. We have not been properly prepared for this mean world. While we live in the U.S. and born in the U.S. their system is not for us. We must maneuver ourselves differently. We never know when a simple or even complex interaction with police who are white and black could be our last. These techniques aren't 100% because some officers of the law want the badge of honor of killing us, but a few pointers could ensure if they do there is clear evidence of it. Join me for this 'Interacting with 5.0' session to spark "THE TALK" with black males in your life or even you.

  • Will mere words ever change the plight of Black People???
I wrote this in reply to a post. I thought it was worth seeing again I was not going to way in on this discussion. Here are my thoughts. We have heard great one-liner's at many Black funerals across America. You feel good when you hear it. Always followed by what we are going to do next. Jessie and Al have been around for a long time. Nothing has gotten any better. They will be dead and gone. Somebody will want to raise from the dead to speak at another funeral. What we going to do next has never stopped anyone from being killed. You can also throw in a couple of major events. ie: Million Man March, Million Woman March, and all kinds of days not to spend money. We are still here with a modern-day lynching of a Black man. The only thing that remained consisted. Is there will be another Black person killed by police in the next six months. So Simp I understand your point. We have had enough feel-good speeches. Where is the action behind the speech??? One, last thing Every Black person we consider important will show up at this funeral. We have a home town person I listen to all the time. His message is clear. Do you know how many people support him in his cause? He just went over 500,000 out of all the Blacks in this country. Not perfect but more real than the rest. Roland Martin, Check it out for yourself. A modern-day Forward times.
