This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast concludes their very first Horrortober with one of the most iconic faces in all of horror. We head out to Haddonfield to watch Michael Myers return and kill in the newest installments of the iconic Halloween  franchise. Join us as we cover David Gordon Green's 2018 Halloween, and the second film in his planned trilogy, 2021's Halloween Kills. 

On this episode we discuss our feelings on the Halloween franchise as a whole, and decide where we rank Laurie Strode on the Mt. Rushmore of final girls. We break down both films and decide whether or not Halloween Kills is deserving of all of the negative reviews surrounding it, or if the kills make up for some of the film's other shortcomings. All this and more as we do a little housekeeping from last week's episode and talk about our Instagram exchange with "Sweet Tooth" director David Parker.

This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast takes on not one, not two, not three, but ten unique stories as we cover our first anthology film in podcast history. Ten stories from eleven directors that all take place in one suburb on the same night. For our latest installment of Horrortober we do our best to tell all of the Tales of Halloween.

This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast is back with another installment of Horrortober! In this episode we find ourselves on a tour across the USA in search of the most extreme haunted attractions, and the elusive Blue Skeleton. However, things might start to get a little too extreme as we cover both The Houses October Built and The Houses October Built 2. 

We discuss both films, and try to find at least one reason why this sequel exists. We talk everything from doll girls to laser boobs, and try to figure out how a group of best friends turns into a group of terrible humans in the span of one sequel. This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast is taking a trip into the Waniverse! Well not really, but we are covering James Wan's newest film, Malignant. We know the movie is still out in theaters so we make sure to give you plenty of spoiler warnings before we get into our review of the film.

The Bloody Good Film Podcast is back this week finishing up the last two films in the Candyman franchise. We start this week off in New Orleans as we dig deeper into the origin story of Daniel Robataille in Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh. We then head back home to Los Angeles just in time for Dia de los Muertos and watch Candyman 3: Day of the Dead. 

We compare and contrast these two sequels, one being a carbon copy of the original and the other being an incoherent off the wall story. We discuss the origin story of Candyman, and whether or not bees shoot out of his...well you'll just have to listen for that conversation. We also address a question brought up to us by a listener, and ask ourselves if we believe that we are qualified to discuss movies with social issues that we may not be entirely familiarized with, such as the Candyman franchise.

This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast is rejoined by one of the very first guests in our podcast history. We sat down together once with Soul Grinder to talk Toxic Avenger, and this episode we are joined again by Kevin Ross to discuss his newest solo project, Dismal Reverie. We talk music, inspiration, and of course horror, as together we break down City of the Living Dead. 

Kevin sits down and talks with us about his newest EP, Starlit Roads. We talk the process of going from the drummer of a successful band, to taking on a full solo project and learning the bass, guitar, and vocals along the way. We talk about atmosphere, Eddie Murphy, and even more atmosphere before moving on to the 2021 remake. No I mean reimagining. No wait, it's a sequel.

This week on the Bloody Good Film Podcast we have the first episode in podcast history without both of our hosts. We get on the mat to test the acting chops of pro wrestler Roddy Piper, and get a chance to dig into Richard's own pro wrestling experiences. We talk everything from cool sunglasses to consumerism and break down how this movie is not nearly as black and white as it seems. Bro! This week on the Bloody Good Film Podcast we are finishing up the Slumber Party Massacre franchise by watching the third and final installment. Keeping on theme we decided to pair Slumber Party Massacre 3 with the third and only installment of Dude Bro Party Massacre 3. Bro, there are like a lot of massacres and a lot of parties going on right now. Dude!

Our first party on the podcast is of the slumber party variety, and features our third (and worst) driller killer of the franchise. Sadly this entry has no guitar drill and our killer has no sweet Elvis moves. Instead we get a driller killer who uses not only his drill, but everything from a yard sign to a dildo for a weapon. We try our best to find at least one cast member that we like and compare and contrast this film to the other two superior films in the franchise. 

Now hold on to your 6 pack bro because our second party is of the dude bro variety! We highly recommend taking shots or shotgunning multiple beers before watching this next one. A horror comedy about a bunch of dude bros in a fraternity being hunted down by a mysterious killer, Motherface. This is one that we don't want to spoil too much, so just grab a few drinks and have a listen as we talk about the genius writing, clever satire, and glorious gore. Bro, I don't want to spoil it, but like dude this is like for real good. Like seriously bro.

This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast answers a different  question... War, what is this movie good for?  Absolutely nothing.  We talk about this 2007 film that stars two of the best action stars and martial artists, Jason Statham and Jet Li and try to find out exactly what went wrong. 

We discuss how pitting Jet Li and Jason Statham against each other somehow still wasn't enough to make a good movie. We rack our brains trying to understand why this movie was choreographed like our action stars were senior citizens. We try to find ways to make the plot of this movie somewhat coherent, and (spoiler alert) we reveal the big twist that we are sure no one saw coming! Luckily we find other more interesting things to talk about to spare your ears from unnecessary talk about a wasted opportunity.
