This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast goes where few podcasts have gone before... We wasted our free time so you don't have to, and watched quite possibly the two worst video game movies of all time. We continue through these franchises and break down two sequels and discuss both Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. 

Is Chris Klein the worst actor of all time? Is it possible to be Irish, raised in another country,  never be around Irish people ever in your life,  and still have an Irish accent?  Is there a guy from the Black Eyed Peas playing Vega?  We answer all these questions and try to figure out exactly what went wrong with this "Street Fighter" film. 

I doubt there is any movie podcast that could enjoy Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. If there is, you  should really take a second to think whether or not you can trust their opinions. No Lambert, no Tagawa, no Bridgette Wilson? This movie never had a chance. We discuss everything from Raiden's new haircut to the awful CGI animality attempts.

Lambert or Lamb Bear? Another episode, another discussion about Christopher Lambert's name. This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast is discussing the two biggest video game movies of the 90s as we compare the 1994 Street Fighter movie with the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie in a episode full of nostalgia. 

On one side of the arcade we have an almost certainly on drugs JCVD playing the all American Colonel Guile, taking on a dying Raul Julia who literally gave his all in his performance of General Bison. We dig into some of the insane stories that went on during the making of this movie. We go over what characters were spot on, and try to figure out how they managed to mess up Ryu and Ken so badly even though they are the faces of the franchise.

On the opposite console we have Christoher (insert correct pronunciation here) portraying the God of Thunder, Raiden who does absolutely nothing to help earth's heroes take on the single greatest bad guy of the early 90s, Shang Tsung. We break down Johnny Cage v Scorpion, Lui Kang v Reptile, and Sub Zero v Bucket of Water? Join us as we discuss everything from nut punches to Josh's dream way to die.

It's fight week here at the Bloody Good Film Podcast! Let's get ready to rumble as this episode we will be breaking down three of the greatest fights in the history of film. 

We start off the night with a review of an absolute classic of a match from 1962, King Kong vs Godzilla. We discuss each combatants unique fighting style, and discuss whether or not flying in on a balloon and landing on your opponent should be a considered a legal move. We crown our first winner of the evening in what promises to be quite an "electric" performance. 

In our second match, we discuss what promises to be the biggest match in all of 2021, Godzilla vs Kong! We try to figure out why Eleven from Stranger Things is at the event at all, let alone sitting ringside. We watch this fight unfold everywhere from the ocean, to Tokyo, and all the way to Hollow Earth! We go wild as we see a new challenger appear and try to take on our champions. 

Finally, in our main event it is time for one co host to pay up on the first bet in podcast history. The undefeated Mt. Dew mashed potatoes await a new challenger who bet on the wrong Titan, and now must endure the smell that comes along with the taste of defeat!

This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast not only chooses sides for the upcoming Godzilla vs Kong episode, but also lays down the terms of the first bet in podcast history. This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast has found some footage of a group of college kids taking long drives through Norway, and killing a couple of trolls in the process. The smell of Christian blood is in the air as we watch the 2010 Norwegian film, Trollhunter. Prepare for subtitles!
