The Bloomsbury Institute's Bloomsbury Radio reporter interviewed the organisers of the exhibition, "Generation UCL".

"Students are foundational to the story of UCL. Established in 1826 as the first university in London, then the largest city in the world, and the first in England outside Oxford and Cambridge, UCL opened up higher education to those who had previously been denied access. This included religious minorities, the middle classes, and later, women. Since the beginning, students have been free to invent their own traditions and forge a distinctive student culture in London."

The exhibition spotlights individual stories whilst exploring themes of community, student identity and belonging.

The Bloomsbury Institute's Bloomsbury Radio reporter interviewed New Wave: Art Prize 2024 winner Meghan Salisbury about her piece "Fizz Droop And Drool". Meghan Salisbury’s pulsating, bodily oil paintings give visual language to the processes and forms people are made up of, but often cannot see or feel.

In this animated short, the character is based on the artist’s older ‘brother’ who has Autism Disorder and shows how he behaves and reacts in various environments. 

The Bloomsbury Institute's Bloomsbury Radio reporter interviewed the poets from "26 CONNECTIONS".

"13 writers from 2 are collaborating with 13 writers from the Barbican Young Poets, led by Jacob Sam-La Rose to write poems on the theme Human.Kind. The poems demonstrate the power of people coming together to explore the potential of creative collaboration. Each pair has written a poem together, and they have also written an essay to describe the process."

The Bloomsbury Institute's Bloomsbury Radio reporter interviewed the cast and team of the production of "The Jellyfish Enigma".

The Bloomsbury Institute's Bloomsbury Radio reporter interviewed Tiffany King about the show called "Mother".

An estranged couple finds themselves in a chasm where words are both too much and not enough. To move forward, Gina must revisit her unspeakable grief. "Mother" tells her story.

The piece portrays an exhausted new mum navigating motherhood with humor and grace, even as milk stains and chaos surround her. It's a heartfelt journey where laughter and tears coexist.

"Combining therapy, stand-up, and spoken word, "Mother" humorously explores what it means to be a mother. Tiffany, a RADA graduate, first performed it at RADA Lab Works in 2024 at the Coronet Theatre."

The Bloomsbury Institute's Bloomsbury Radio reporter interviewed Patti West about her one woman show called "Kraken Time."

"Kraken Time is a one woman show written and performed by RADA graduate, Patti West. You are invited to Mrs Kraken’s dinner party! As a starter you will be offered pain and loneliness, main course is some dark humour with a pinch of laughter served with tears. For dessert you will be served something you’ve probably never tried before… do you dare to come? A Michelin star feast is guaranteed!"

The Bloomsbury Institute's Bloomsbury Radio reporter interviewed Georgie Pope, who oversees the SOAS concert series, about the event "Grupo Lokito: Congo meets Cuba!"

"Grupo Lokito creates a vibrant fusion of two of the world's great musical styles, blending dynamic contemporary Congolese rhythms with the lively spirit of Cuban music. The result is an energetic atmosphere that gets audiences dancing. The rich, melodious vocals of Congolese frontmen Iddo Donnatella and Kas Kasongo are complemented by the soaring guitar work of Congolese guitar hero Mbokalia ‘Burkina Faso’, along with the enchanting keyboards played by Latin pianist Sara. All of this is underpinned by a powerful rhythm section featuring Ernesto on drums, Emeris on congas, and Shyam on rhythm guitar."
