I’m learning how to plan everyday in order to get what I want to done. Planning is a form of me taking control of my life and not allowing my life to be in the hands of other people’s plans. However, sometimes it can feel like I’m too controlling and too hard on myself when I don’t get things done, when I get interrupted or distracted or when I try to include others in my plans. What I want be able to do is be flexible and flow with the changes and people that can effect my plans. I want to include others in my plans in a way that allows people’s plans or purposes to be fulfilled though me instead of expecting them to fulfill my purpose. I want to appreciate every route I can take to succeed because I feel no matter which route I take, the destination is still success.

While being a full time artist, I’m learning how to support myself financially by striving to manifest the best ideas that comes to my mind and I’m realizing it takes a lot of self discipline and I have a lot of growing to and there are so many areas I have to mature in. Overall, I feel like my state of mind is more important than what I am able to do. I feel like it’s better for me to be prepared. To prepare for my goals by planning and also be prepared to make new plans when my plans fail. That way, I am strong, fortified and ready to keep going no matter what. I can’t accept defeat or failure as the last chapter.

Deep down, the underlying issue of the society today is healing. There is not enough healing. Not enough adults letting go of negative habits and childhood issues so we're being taught and teaching negative habits generation after generation. We need to ease up on each other, accept each other for our differences and understand that there is no one right way.

I can only give you the energy that I have. And I want to have loving energy, positive energy, faithful energy, disciplining energy and be focused on growth. So if you give me those types of vibes, then I’ll give that back to you because that’s what I have to give. But if you give me hate, anger, disgust, lies, complaints and other forms of negative energy, you can’t get that back from me because I’m not focused on matching that type of vibe. I’m learning everyday on how to be in control of myself no matter my environment or how others conduct themselves around me. I want to focus on my goals and maintaining my energy.

There’s some songs I write that’s painful to write and it takes a lot out of me to sing because of all the pain I put in it. Then there’s some songs I write that’s full of joy and grace and gratitude so when I sing them, it fills with me up with good vibes and smiles. When I’m on stage or behind the mic, I feel at peace, I feel like I’m in my element and it’s important for me to choose to perform songs that I would love to sing forever because if I’m not liking how I’m feeling while singing than why would I choose to.
