The “Pick-Up Poet Tree” Educational Playing Card Game is a learning tool that increases literacy and allows you to have fun while learning about poetic literary devices such as metaphor, simile, hyperbole, rhyme, alliteration, repetition, personification, oxymoron and onomatopoeia.

I wrote 67 simple “I am” affirmations on cards and allow people to pick 3 of them and explain why they are those characteristics.
