Hi listeners! We here at the BMP Podcast can be taken by surprise, too, but we scrambled and talked to the band Passed Out as they got ready for their double release party planned for Friday, Dec. 12 at Milkie's on Elmwood.

The band has been together for ten years and recently joined Harvest Sum Records to re-release their first work, "I Just Don't Feel Like Myself Anymore," and their newest album, "Do You Miss Anything At All?"

On the BMP Podcast, we talked about origins, tours, Rome, missing drummers, song processes, Christmas movies and other such topics that came up during the conversation. A special treat on this episode is a live performance of "Fistful of Teeth" and a clip of their about to be released song "Changed, Changing"

Hear ye! Hear ye! "Concrete Christmas" to be shown at American Repertory Theater of WNY on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and part of that multi-storied performance is a short play called "No Kings" by poet and playwright Justin Karcher.

Justin talked about his life in words as part of the literary scene in Buffalo. He shares some ideas about the scene, train robberies and the role of the artist in these tumultuous times.

We had Ferrell at our studios just a few days ago and had a great talk about the comedy scene, as well as an in depth look at this comedian's background and drive. Bryan Dubay finished his album "Call Your Mother" after playing the songs on the album for the last year. He's a free thinker who likes to be different. 

Currently, he's getting ready to record new material, but that shouldn't stop listeners from checking out the older discography. An ever-evolving artist, Dubay talked about his love for music and why he writes and records everything he does.

Sal from Gatto Black came into our studios a little while back, and we'd like to send him with this for the tour he and his bandmates are taking on, starting out on Thursday in Brooklyn at Gold Sounds. Two other dates are scheduled for New Jersey in Highland Park at BLKBRN on Dec. 5, and at the Depot Bar in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday. There are rumors of a Buffalo show as well.

A blast from BMP host Benjamin Joe's past comes in to talk about his newest single receiving airplay across the country.

Former news reporter Thomas Tedesco of the band HYWATER, came on to talk about the social media game, touring, building audiences and playing rock n' roll.

Whether influenced by the 70s, 80s or 90s and beyond, HYWATER seems to be taking the hearts and ears of the guitar loving music fans by storm and it's clear why. HYWATER takes things day by day, working hard and reminding folks of a little thing called perseverence.
