The Hypochondriacs are a six-piece band from New Brunswick, Canada. They have a genre fusion of country, rockabilly, and rock and roll that they call “genre less”

They played last year at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Free Concert Series at Peoples Natural Gas Park in Johnstown. 

They will be back at The Ameriserv Flood City Music Festival, playing at the 1st Summit Pavilion Stage on Saturday, July 27th from 2 to 330.

We talked to lead vocalist and guitarist Josh Bravener about the sound of the band, that name, and their memories playing in Johnstown.

Run Home Camps began with founder, Nick Miller. With a life-long love for baseball and the camaraderie that it creates, Nick envisioned a place where children could come and experience love and acceptance like never before.

The program, a weeklong baseball camp for kids in various social and economic situations, teamed with Fellowship of Christian Athletes for the first program in 2013. 

The program has now grown to include international programs!

The Johnstown Walk of Hope is a nonprofit organization started in 2016, with the goal of raising money for patients with a cancer diagnosis. 

The money raised goes to support patient expenses.  

The Johnstown Walk of Hope will be held THIS SATURDAY, June 1, at Johnstown’s Trojan Stadium. 

It will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The goal is raising $100,000!!

The Ameriserv Flood City Music Festival is coming up on July 26th and 27th at People’s Natural Gas Park with another incredible lineup. 

It features acts from around the world and local acts as well. 

One of those acts is Endless Mike and The Beagle Club. The band has began in the Johnstown area 20 years ago.

On Tuesday, May 21st, The Stone Bridge in Johnstown will be lit up in teal for Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month. 

We found out more about Tourette’s and how it effects so many from Brian Crawford. 

Mr. Crawford is a volunteer with the PA Tourette Syndrome Alliance.
