This is the sermon Bob gave on 11 June in Sydney (at Burwood Presbyterian Church) when he was asked to preach on the biblical passage titled "Romans Chapter 11." It has to be one of the toughest passages in the Bible and specifically relates to how God and thus, how anyone, should treat the Jewish people. What do you think?
It's not the usual length of 18 minutes, rather 26 minutes and 19 seconds. Sorry for the lengthening of your listening, but hope you enjoy this.
To read the manuscript, it's on my Blog here.

This was not the ordinary podcast for the week. This was a sermon given at the end of the National Reconciliation Week in Sydney on 4 June 2023. The pastor of the Grace Christian Church invited Bob to speak about the Woman at the Well story (Recorded in John chapter 9). This is what Bob said. Isaac runs a cafe named "Upside Down" in Los Angeles, across the street from the University of California (UCLA). He has seen an increase in mental anxiety among the students that seems new and he often wonders what will help them the most. In this part 1 of a 2-part interview, Isaac identifies the problem and the beginning of the solution. It's much older than we think.
The historical marker of the week includes Estonia, Queen Elizabeth II and the Warsaw Ghetto.

I share my views about the religious holidays of Passover and Easter in today's episode. And why do they usually land in the same week? Do they celebrate similar or different themes?
Historical markers of the week include Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr, William Henry Harrison (see link: https://www.britannica.com/biography/John-Tyler ) and Bill Gates founded a company.

The chains of hotels might be offputting to you, but it's a challenge taken by our guest Mr Josh Gaddis of Arab, Alabama in this episode. He is the podcaster on the show Rethinking Hospitality and you will want to hear his heart and passion for the industry and his love for his mother, too. Also there is a contest you might win if you listen and reply first.
The historical marker of the week involves Turkeye (yes, that's how it's now spelled) in 1930 and again back in the Crimean War.
