Sometime in late 1973 or very early 1974 my dad took me shopping for a stereo, if memory serves. We got our Zenith Allegro Series I, Model GR587W from E. J. Korvette. It was a wonderful gift! It had a turntable, radio and 8-track tape player/recorder. I could now record in stereo!
