What does it really mean to be jealous of someone else? Are there patterns you notice that trigger you to feel envious of someone else?
Today I am talking about an emotion that so many of us don’t want to admit we experience - jealousy. All of us have experienced it at some point in our life but it’s not something people often talk about or look at the root cause of. What I have found is that jealousy and envy are triggered when we see someone in a situation that seems unattainable for us. Working on eliminating the limiting beliefs we have for our own capabilities is a key component to stopping jealousy triggers. Throughout this episode, I’m going to explain what jealousy means, what you can do about it, and why it’s one of the meanest things you can do to yourself.
Tune in to learn my steps to stopping jealousy triggers and why you need to have compassion for yourself when you feel envious or jealous towards someone else!

How many times have you felt compelled to do something but yet, you did not follow what your heart nudged you to do? Maybe it’s because you didn’t have the time, you didn’t have the courage to do it, or simply it was too inconvenient for you to get out of your comfort zone and take action on your instincts.
And you looked away… from that opportunity to help someone, to take that action, or to go on that adventure.
You’re not alone in this. We’re all ignoring our hearts over and over again. But there comes a time when it’s getting hard to look away anymore. Our whole body, mind, and spirit react to that voice inside, and it’s practically impossible to just turn your back on it.
In this episode, I wanted to share with you a story that happened to me on Christmas Eve, that really made me think about following my heart’s desires more because that’s the only route to becoming boldly lit and on fire! Yes, my friends, listening to the inner messages is the way!

Today’s episode will be a little personal, as I’ll be sharing some of the matters in my family that have transpired over the past few weeks. I recently received news that two of my relatives were unwell this month and as a result, I’ve had to book a spontaneous flight to Mexico in order to care for my father. It was a shock, to say the least, as my dad is someone who has historically always been energetic and led with so much purpose in both his personal life and career.
The emotions I felt surrounding his and my grandmother’s health surprised me. The knee-jerk reaction in these situations would be to feel angry, upset, hurt, or confused and they’re all completely valid feelings to have. However, for me, I felt a sense of contentment in knowing that I’d expressed as much love as I possibly could throughout my life and knew in my heart that I had no regrets in the actions I’d taken leading up to these moments.
I’d like to invite you to challenge your own expressions of love by asking yourself a few important questions which I’ll mention in today’s show. Tune in to Episode 12 of Boldly Lit and On Fire to hear more!

How often do you listen all the way through, and only then begin to talk?
It’s not an easy thing to do. We’re often tempted to rush to conclusions and get our turn to speak, that we don’t always pay attention to what people are actually telling us. But, if we go into every conversation with the intention of carefully listening to every word, to every idea that is communicated to us, we get an advantage that otherwise we wouldn’t have – which is, having options to choose from when we’re trying to come up with an answer.
My guest today, Rico Mangram, learned all about the art of listening from his parents, especially from his mother, to whom he used to have open conversations with, at all times. Rico is a dear friend of mine, that exudes positivity every time I see him, and he is truly boldly lit and on fire in everything that he does.
Rico is the founder and CEO of Rico No Suave Show, where he and his co-host Valerie inspire people throughout the world and give them a great way to start their day every Saturday! Throughout this episode, he shares plenty of golden nuggets on the importance to listen first and talk later, how to keep a dose of optimism and positivity even when you’re sharing space with negative people, and also, how to efficiently communicate so that you can connect with those who listen to you.
Now’s the time to exercise your listening abilities, so tune in, and enjoy the show!

Are you going through a STRUGGLE right now?
Society pushes the notion that if we struggle, we’re working hard and it will eventually come to an end. But what if you start to feel stuck in a constant struggle, with no end in sight?
That’s what today’s episode is all about: living a life of struggle versus sacrifice. I dive into the difference between what it means to struggle versus sacrifice, and how you can identify the differences in each area of your life. Then, I dive into tools and mindsets to help you lift yourself out of the “struggle” mindset, get to a place where you truly refuse to enroll in the struggle and start living a thriving life.
If you feel like your life is really hard right now and you’re sick of being stuck in the struggle, this episode is for you.

Let’s talk about sex baby!
When was the last time you were really honest with yourself about your sex life? For a lot of us, that conversation can feel daunting, confronting, or even shameful and there are so many factors that play into the feelings of disempowerment we experience when it comes to our own sexuality.
In this episode, I’m going to be diving deep into why my views on sex have changed so drastically since I was younger, why we should be living in a judgment-free zone around this topic, particularly towards women, and share my experience being diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure.
I hope that by offering my perspective, you feel encouraged to challenge your own beliefs and biases and are inspired to hold space in your own life for healthier conversations in regards to sex. Happy listening!

It’s time to start having COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS!
If there’s one thing that my friend Tracey Benson has taught me, it’s the power of having courageous conversations with others and always being willing to apologize first.
Tracey Benson is an amazing, multi-dimensional human. She’s a businesswoman, wife, mother, and animal whisperer. Throughout our conversation, Tracey and I discuss what true, authentic connection with others looks like, how to achieve it, and why relationships ebb and flow over time. Tracey vulnerably shares how she’s grown in self-awareness over time, re-evaluated the relationships she has with people in her life, and how she handles courageous conversations with them.
Tune in to learn how you can cultivate space for healthy, humble, and ultimately loving connections with yourself and loved ones!

When was the last time you consciously decided to give up control?
The truth is, gripping onto the notion that you have control over your life and circumstances is the fastest path away from living a boldly lit and on fire life.
On this episode, I’m going to share with you a recent breakthrough that I had, where I realized I was not living boldly lit and on fire. Instead, I was holding onto control and allowing myself to slip into a negative space when I realized I had none. At that moment, I realized that I had to choose to give up that control, choose to experience happiness, joy, and gratefulness, and choose to surrender. When I did that, I regained a sense of control, and I created space to emotionally and spiritually expand, and further my journey to self-mastery.
Tune in to take a step toward surrendering to the notion that you have no control over the world around you and choose to control everything within yourself.
