In episode 2 of Dragonslayers we see how Ashley gets duped into service the service of Fade, and the begin to weave the shady dealings that kicks off a quite complicated and underhanded power struggle. The stage is set for double crossing and backstabbing, as it should be in a game of Fiasco!

We polish of the introduction of our new characters in this episode, exploring their abilities even further. We also establish some pretty key things in the play setting, particularly something we will come to call the Aqua Rail. And it will prove to have great influence in the main campaign.

For our next Throwback Series, we go back to an old favorite, Fiasco, but with a twist. We picked up the Dragonslayers play set and plugged in the Living Dead add-on and the alternate tilt table and aftermath from the Fiasco Companion book. In this first episode, we kick it off with a couple flashback scenes to see how the characters' relationships (if you can call them that) began.

We continue with the Prologue Episodes. We see a bit more of our character's abilities in action. And their introductions to each other aren't the most... let's say, honest. This will get interesting!

In the conclusion of this one-shot we've got werewolves, aliens, time travel, men in black... and it wouldn't be ridiculously complete without fighting Nazis. The final confessionals reveal no one in the group really knows what has been going on. How will they make it out alive, and how will they move forward?

For the Prologue Episodes, we introduce you to the world that we have created as the setting for the upcoming campaign. We'll explore a bit of how it works, situations the characters will face, and begin to see their abilities in action. Some of what takes place may come back up in the actual campaign. In this episode, we get our first look at the nature of fire elementals. Enjoy!

Full on into the Asylum, and the "residents" don't seem to be too welcoming no matter how the team tried to get in. Not only that, but a mysterious figure approaches from outside. And we get the full trifecta as a threat from within the group appears to be imminent.

Now we get to introduce the characters for the new campaign. Using one of our favorite methods for creating characters, the Campaign Mastercraft Method (The 3x3 Character), we share the characters' backstories, beliefs, and goals — giving Jordan plenty of ammunition to create a bit of chaos for the players, and ultimately drive the story. We also give a brief overview of the social/cultural setting in which the adventure will begin. Enjoy!

On this Throwback Thursday episode, the team researches the history of the Jefferson Davis Mental Asylum and finds some pretty haunting details. So heading back to the asylum at sunset seems like the best idea... but the dice strongly disagree.

We’re excited to begin a new campaign; new world, new characters, and a new adventure. In this episode, we introduce the foundation of the world we created in a game of Microscope we played off-mic, wade into this new campaign setting, and begin to build the new characters. Since recording, we have decided on a name for this adventure, Elements of War. We hope you enjoy!
