We discuss what it was like playing under Gus Poyet and what true leadership looks like, knowing and understanding how to get the best out of each player. This relates so much to the business world and not just in sport, as a leader if you can know and understand the individuals in your team, you can motivate, inspire and get the best performance from them. Will talks about his time at Brighton and the amazing buzz in the city during that period and those first seasons at the Amex, as well as what he is up to now and life after football as he helps to support and inspire the next generation of players as an FA Registered Intermediary and Owner of WEB Sports Management. One of the major key takeaways for me though was Will's mindset and the ability to focus on 'what I am doing right now' and 'how do I get better at this', that along with a strong work ethic is ultimately how we have achieve high performance.
