Lesson Summary:

This week we’ll hear echoes of the New Testament in the Book of Mormon as we study the Sermon at the Temple. Jesus will teach those ready to live a higher law and become perfected through Him. He’ll teach the Beatitudes, ask them to examine their intentions, and remind them of prophecy about His other sheep. It’s a power-packed week of study!

3 Nephi 11-16 | Elder Holland said “Refuse to accept the world for what it appears to be. Shine the brightness of your hope on it and make it what it ought to be.” How do you see this type of determination and tenacious hope in the Savior this week? Can hope actually change the landscape of your lif or does it just make you view it differently?

14:13-14 | There are many reasons why the gate of baptism is strait and narrow. One of my favorites I found in 2 Nephi 9:41. That verse openem my eyes to a new understanding about the relationship that is initiated. Why do you think the gate is strait and narrow?

3 Nephi 15:17-18 | Pride and doubt limit revelation for the Children of Israel in Jesus’ time. How have you seen it limit revelation in your life? How has humility and faith impacted the flow of revelation for you?
