Lesson Summary:

This week Alma begins his reactivation tour. He’s hoping to kindle the dim fires of faith in the people of Zarahemla and stoke the flames he finds in the hearts at Gideon. He’ll testify of mighty changes and ask a series of questions to help members evaluate their own status before God. In the process, he’ll share beautiful sermons about the mercy, ministry, and mission of Jesus Christ.

Questions to Consider:

Alma 5:19 | Why not reflected in your countenance? What does the word engraven imply? Permanence? Sacrifice? Something more?

Alma 5:44-46, 6:6 | Do you see a link between these verses? Why are fasting and mighty prayer a powerful tool for both individuals and groups?

Alma 7:19-20 | What is this path? Where is it leading? If we control its straightness, is it a path to us? Does it link to John the Baptist or to Proverbs 3:5-6?
