In the biggest twist yet, Queen Freida ends the Housemaid series with the most normal book yet. No rocket ships, no Millie murders, and no razzle dazzle. We talk lots about things that didn't work for us in this book (why did we know nothing about the important characters??), some things we wished happened instead (Janice should have "definitely* kidnapped Spencer), and things we still loved about the final Millie adventure (Murder Millie 4ever).

Before getting into the tragic story of Harry Potter, the sisters dig into the tragic life of Candice's math-quiz interview. After judging poor interviewing techniques, the girlies judge JK Rowlings Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone cover - of which they give high praise.

After 30 or so minutes the sisters finally 'get into it' as they pick up with Harry & the gang completing midterms, helping their grown friend Hagrid get out of a dragon-y pickle, & laugh about Quierrel's new life of having an evil mastermind living on the back of his head! More plot holes from book one are covered up by Sheriff Hudson who asks questions 11 years too late. The sisters postulate new theories with their favorite centering around the very forgettable assistant-turned-manager Anne & her suspiciously absent gender neutral spouse Jamie.

Sarah continues to become more psychotic as she gaslights Bob & the girlies have to wonder if the spirit of Killie Millie lives on in a new host.

The Bookalicious Sisters roll right in to Jeneva Rose's latest thriller, The Perfect Divorce.

We pick up with Bob & Sarah one year into their marriage in a meeting with their divorce lawyers! Knowing this book is about the worst people, we have several bads and possibly 1 (or 2??) BIG BAD resulting in the pages turning slower than The Perfect Marriage.

The sisters outline the main players in this mystery, with a surprise twist that Sheriff Hudson gained a few brain cells compared to his Book 1 version.

Candice and Chrissy wrap up The Perfect Marriage- Chrissy is distressed at the injustice and Candice loves the kookiness of the story. We ask all of our questions like: Is this the ending we wanted? How did no one question all the conflicts of interests in this case? Why is everyone in this town evil? And, was Sarah possessed by the spirit of Killie Millie and will there be a Housemaid/Marriage crossover book?!

In a stunning turn, Chrissy's seemingly off-the-wall #1 suspect (Sarah's mystery mister) makes an appearance in a strange ghostly sexcapade while Candice is distraught as her well-thought out theory of Matthew as the killer starts to unravel.

Sarah makes moves to investigate Kelly's creepy stalker, while Adam employees a rando from the street claiming to be a reporter as a PI (private investigator). While this could have been a strategic move, Adam proves to be "that person" in your worst group project nightmare as he drunk dials all possible leads & orders a $10,000 mattress
