And, did Della and Jim give each other wise gifts? Merry Christmas!

  • 22. The Wingfeather Saga: The Warden and the Wolf King, Part 3

    "The world is whispering–listen child!–
The world is telling a tale...

...Child, keep watch for the passing form
Of the one who made it all."

The epicsode you have all been waiting for. The conclusion to The Wingfeather Saga. The episode where everyone cries. Here. It. Is. In. All. Its. Glory.
*DISCLAIMER* No one on the show cries. We all did when reading though.

  • 21. The Wingfeather Saga: The Warden and the Wolf King, Part 2

We walk you through the 2nd part through the beginning of the 3rd part. This is probably the more critical of the three episodes we're doing. Don't worry; we still had good things to say about this book. But what exactly do we criticize? Listen to find out.

Starting at the first part and working their way to the beginning of the second part, they ask and answer questions like: Why is this the best book? Do you like the allegory in this book? And discuss things like: the formatting of the story, the Bonifer storyline, and the return of the footnotes!

  • 18. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Part 1

"Saturday morning was come, and all the summer world was bright and fresh, and brimming with life."

Do we covet what is difficult for us to attain? When does a talent become showing off? Did Tanner read and abridged version that "Appeared on his bookshelf" and didn't know it was abridged????? All of these are questions  BOOKIN' IT asks and answers--besides the last one.
