I had the pleasure of chatting with Maya Henry, whose debut novel, Looking Froward is inspired by events from her life. She is a student, model, actress and activist and this book was a work of love, awareness and truth. Her story is worldwide, taking you all over, but also is a voice for women. Mal and Oliver are a love story like no other. The format of the book was so unique and really made the reading experience captivating. I also loved that I was her FIRST podcast, she was a pro!
