- The Holiday Show Ep. 26 - Calling the Cops Would Have Been the Best Solution. Change Our Minds. (Nerdy Prudes Must Die)
We're BACK! In this episode, we discuss Starkid's Nerdy Prudes Must Die, their most recently released musical. We've decided that these high schoolers could've been smarter and just calling the cops when things went wrong would have solved all of their problems. That being said, we LOVE this musical and can't get enough of it! Come listen to us ramble about the musical and go on tangents relating to high school.
We are recording our episodes LIVE over on Twitch! You get to see and hear us as we discuss books, movies, and musicals, and you can even interact with us during the episodes! (Not to mention you'll get to see and hear our bloopers too!) Don't worry though! We'll still be editing our episodes and posting them on your favorite podcasting platforms!
Be sure to catch our LIVE episodes on our Twitch channels! We stream on Sundays at 2 pm CST.

2 hr 44 min - The Holiday Show Ep. 25 - Too Many People We Didn't Care About (New Year's Eve)
Think about that one person always telling you stories about people you have no connection to and aren't interested in hearing about... now think about it in a movie. That is New Year's Eve for you in a nut shell. What we thought would be a fun little movie about the beginning of the new year turned out to be confusing and also didn't really hold our interest too well. But we watched it so you don't have to! Enjoy our commentary and we put the stories all together correctly for you. You are very lucky we didn't just try to chat through the summary as it happened haha!

1 hr 23 min - The Holiday Show Ep. 24 - The One With All the Annoying Children (The Polar Express)
Make sure you read the reviews of this movie before you believe all the hype. As beloved as it is to so many, Karen really thought she was going to watch it and have her view on it change... jokes on her. She hated it even more on her second watch through!

1 hr 25 min - The Holiday Show Ep. 23 - Cat Lovers, This Cheesy Christmas Movie is For You! (The Nine Lives of Christmas)
We are both cat loves, so OF COURSE we had to watch this Hallmark Christmas movie that includes cats as part of the plot! It's safe to say that it's easy to fall in love with this movie, as cheesy as it may be. Between talking about our own cats and dating apps that may or may not be real, we discuss some of the things that are a little bit odd about our two lovebirds as well as how they could've navigated some situations better. All in all, we give this movie a 10/10 for cheesy and romantic Christmas movies! (And yes, it's because of the cats.)

1 hr 43 min - The Holiday Show Ep. 21 - Martha May Whovier is Horny For The Grinch (How the Grinch Stole Christmas)
In this episode we unintentionally try to see how often we can mention Harry Potter. (Spoiler Alert: Way too many times.)
Anyways, who knew that the Whos could just order children? We didn't! Not only that, but Martha May Whovier is extremely horny for the Grinch. She has never once stopped thinking about him. But hey! It worked out for both Martha and the Grinch because the Grinch got the girl in the end!

1 hr 48 min - The Holiday Show Ep. 19 - PSA: Don't Stab People. It's Not Good. (Black Friday)
First of all, we are very annoying. We LOVE this musical! However, we've seen a lot of hate for it... People just aren't giving the musical a fair chance!
Secondly, uh, don't stab people. It's not good for them.
Third, Google Home decided to make an appearance in this episode???
Fourth, did we mention that we love this musical? Because we do. Every single song is fantastic. The acting is *chef's kiss*. The casting? PHENOMENAL. If you don't like this musical then you're wrong (but we love you).
Finally, Karen keeps spoiling Nightmare Time and Colleen hasn't seen it yet! Tell Karen to stop!!!

1 hr 36 min - The Holiday Show Ep. 17 - Don't Be a Trust Fund Kid! Problem Solved! (The Ultimate Gift)
When you're a trust fund kid you really have too much money to even care about other people. It's glaringly obvious.
This is a movie that Karen loves, but Colleen had never seen it before! Some of the characters are very easy to fall in love with, such as Gus and Emily, and some characters (*cough*Jason*cough*) take a bit of time to warm up to. Our main conclusion about this movie though is that children are NOT allowed to get cancer. Ever.

About Books, Movies, and Musicals! Oh, My!
From the publisher's feed
Two best friends embark on a journey to ruin all of their favorite childhood stories. Especially Harry Potter. And the Disney Princesses. And anything else we can get our hands on.
We dive deep into the stories we know and love, but do we really know them? It turns out we don’t! Upon realizing we didn't know these stories as well as we thought, we decided to embark on a mission to dive deep and analyze as many as we possibly can (while dragging some amazing guests along with us). If you hadn’t guessed it by now, many things don’t make sense in these books, movies, and musicals.
So come join us, Karen and Colleen, as we tear apart our childhood loves and discover things we never noticed before.
