Books, Movies, and Musicals! Oh, My!

Did you know that Molly Weasley is apparently just ALLOWED to go into Harry Potter's bank vault without him knowing??? We didn't either! That's pretty wild... especially on top of the fact that for some reason the Muggle Prime Minister had to be told about the transporting of the dragons for the Triwizard cup and such. Man this is an insane episode and we answered questions from our twitch viewers during it! Come see what we're about! It's suuuuper fun being so confused by something we thought we knew so well!!

Guess who's even more confused about wizarding things??? It's us! In this episode, we discuss the Quidditch World Cup and the history that just doesn't add up, not to mention that the Ireland Quidditch team and the Bulgarian Quidditch team are two VERY opposite teams. It's kind of hilarious when you think about it. After the Cup is over and (spoiler alert) Ireland wins, we get a fun shape in the sky called the Dark Mark! Come hear our thoughts on it!

Colleen took a million notes again. These chapters were just really confusing. But more importantly, are Fred and George Terrorists??? It seems like they could be! Also, portkeys are just really weird. And kind of stupid. (Read: Very stupid.) At the Quidditch World Cup, the Ministry of Magic is just torturing the muggles whose fields they have hired, so that's fun! And as always, Jo doesn't know how to write. Lots of fun times in this episode!

First of all, Jo really doesn't know how to write characters. Specifically bigger and/or mean characters. It's just awful. Second, Colleen promises to stop apologizing for spoilers from here on out. We are NOT a spoiler-free podcast! Never have been, and never will be! And third, can anyone, and we mean ANYONE, explain to us what exactly Bill Weasley does for work??? It doesn't make sense!

We're not SUPER enjoying this chapter there was just nothing to discuss because it was so dry, BUT we do get into a pretty serious convo about Nagini AND we discuss the strange music that happens at the beginning of the Jim Dale audiobook. Hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year!!! From throwaway jokes, to taking off clothes, and more, we discuss Act 2 of the Starkid musical, Twisted!

Aladdin, we hate to tell ya buddy, but you're not an appropriate suitor for the Princess. Also, the genie is just not really funny in this musical...which is weird. Come listen to us just GUSH about how much we love this musical!

In this episode, if you are brave enough to get through the second episode with bad audio, you will discover that Aladdin is literally the worst. We're starting on the Starkid musical Twisted and we want to know how you feel about our conversation!

This Christmas season, we bring you one of our favorite Netflix Christmas movies, A Christmas Prince. It's so bad, but we just can't stop watching! First it's Amber being mistaken as Princess Emily's American tutor, then it's Amber sitting down for a wolf that's ready to attack, and we finally leave with Prince Richard saying he's going to fight to keep his right to the crown? But he has nothing to fight with??? This movie is not well thought out, but we're gonna watch it every year regardless.

Ya like jazz? ;)

In this episode, if you are brave enough to get through the bad audio, you will discover that neither Colleen nor Karen are huge fans of jazz. Join them as they discuss the Broadway musical for Aladdin and how they feel about each song. What do you think of these songs?
