In this New season, I get to chat it up with influences who have made a deep impact in our San Antonio Community!  April Mae Monterrosa, Edito  in Chief, is a Businesswoman who has achieved great success in her career as an Auto-writer in the State of Texas, and has been recognized by the State as a civil servant.  April has also become very successful in launching her very own publication, a well-known magazine titled Live From The Southside and has even gone on to create a name for herself in the marketing world and has also helped to further educate the younger generation with literature by launching the Scooby-Doo Van of San Antonio, a traveling library handing out free books to the kiddos.  Ms. Monterrosa is known for many other things in this episode, so tune in as I go into depth with April as she illustrates her life journey with us!

On this Episode of BoomerHumor, I invited a local resident of San Antonio  who is an aspiring Actor, Director, Producer, and yes, a Tiktok personality, known for his silly antics as a parody illustrator as well as improv performances.  Julio Rodriguez (aka) Jaybird,  has Produced and Directed a series of Power Ranger-Like episodes called Vato Rangers, which has a Hispanic take on the actual series of the late 90s hit TV show for adolescents.  Jaybird has also many hidden talents as a young Producer/Director when it comes to also acting and starring in his own series as Vato Ranger Red, as well as being an extra in an Indie Featured Film and later landing a part in a new indie film outside of his home city.  Jaybird goes on to discuss what drives him to continue along his journey in the field of Film and how he started in the first place.  Be sure to listen in and laugh with us as we discuss his adventures thus far!
