There’s something in the air at Cheney Mansion... maybe it’s ghosts, maybe it’s game. We took Savannah on her first investigation and were not prepared for how flirty the spirits got.
From spectral suitors to deep discussions about how many hot dogs we’ve eaten in our lifetimes, this one’s haunted and unhinged in the best way.. truly Boos AND Banter
If you read this far, comment a hot dog emoji on our instagram post
In this week’s unhinged episode, we pit two very different (but equally cursed) Roberts against each other: the infamous haunted doll from Key West and the emotionally haunted man from Twilight. Along the way, we spiral into haunted toy stories, how a place actually becomes haunted, and the existential dread of being asked where you’re from.
Somehow we cover ghosts, toys, Twilight, and hometown trauma without taking a single breath.
Good luck and let us know what creepy object(s) you are going to pass on to your friends/family.
We’re back, baby — and we survived the curse… maybe.
After mysteriously losing our last two episodes (seriously, what kind of evil podcast hex is this?!), we’re finally back on track. This week, we dish about our Bar Rescue adventure — chaotic, messy, but definitely not haunted (unless you count the vibe). Then we spiral into the world of real curses: ancient mummies, the Hope Diamond, and other legendary bad-luck charms. Are we cursed? Are you cursed now just from listening? Only one way to find out.
We open this week’s episode with an urgent update: our ghost, Mark, is acting up again. From poltergeist behavior to very coincidental Ghost Tube messaging, it’s clear he’s either trying to scare us or become another member of Boos and Banter. Then, we check ourselves into the St. Louis Lunatic Asylum—because apparently back in the day, all it took was “imaginary female trouble” or a little too much bookworm energy to get locked up. We dive into the history of the institution, then crank the volume with a lineup of fake band names inspired by the real (and ridiculous) reasons people were admitted.
We tried to figure out which cryptids are real and which ones were cooked up by ChatGPT... turns out we’re terrible at both folklore and reading.
Featuring: haunted plastic bags (Meltshade), fart stats (Nicole), and a martini/oyster death wish (Macy).
Also? The Thistlewife might be hot.
It’s cryptid chaos and peak Us. You’ve been warned.
Koch or Cholera? (get it like Coke or Pepsi)
Did you know St. Louis had its own Waverly Hills?
Meagen and Zack ditch the rest of the gang this week and discuss a forgotten piece of St. Louis History. Well, it's mostly Zack rummaging through a stack of papers and trying to form sentences...
Conspiracies or something? I don’t know. Kristen is insane. Mermaids are real. Shrek 2 is supreme.
He dropped off a package and picked up a possession...
No, but really he is our friend... meet Almedin!
He does not work at UPS. He HAS had a super weird experience with black magic.
Let us know if you believe him AND if you would like for him to come back and be a guest again in the comments.
For our second Would You Rather episode - we dive into way too many personal details and oddly enough bodily functions?
We blame the nurse.
We talk about our high school bullies (or bullying) and how Zack was the number one target of the Gleek club.
Also, if Kristen @'ed you on twitter in high school, she's sorry.
You loved it. We loved it. How could we not do another round? May be the last because Zack can no longer be trusted to put together LOGICAL sounds.
He also hates periods. And Women.
Pirates of the Caribbean is not a period film.
