Finally, a musical with the right amount of blood. This week Raven and Campbell are joined by returning guest, Dan, and together they discuss polka music, reverse parodies, and drug lord, Madonna, in the 2022 musical biopic Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.

Rocky Road Old Fashion Recipe:

Place the sugar cube in the bottom of a rocks and add a few dashes of each of the bitters on top of the sugar cube. Add water and muddle until sugar is mostly dissolved. Squeeze the chocolate syrup bottle around the inside rim of the glass, pausing at certain points to create larger "drips" down the side. Add one large ice cube. Add in the dark chocolate liqueur, bourbon, and amaretto and stir until combined. Garnish with marshmallows on a skewer and enjoy.

The Last Laugh Recipe:

-1.5 oz Midori

-2 oz sour mix*

-1.5 oz lime juice

-dash of lemon lime soda

-red sugar to rim glass 

Wet the rim of a glass with a lime then coat with red sugar. Fill glass with ice, pour in Midori, sour mix, and lime juice, top with soda

*Dissolve 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of water over heat on the stove. Once dissolved, stir in 1 cup lemon juice and 1.5 cups lime juice. Remove from heat and let cool. Store in the fridge.

La la la la la. This week Raven and Campbell take a million Youtube breaks while discussing variations in Greek Mythology and subtlety in musicals in the 2026 released proshot of Hadestown.

Spring Elixir Recipe:

Combine equal parts gin, Campari, and syrup* in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a lavender stem.

Syrup*

Bring 1c water to a simmer in a saucepan. Add 12-20 lavender stems. Cover and let simmer for 5 minutes. Reduce heat and add 1c sugar, stirring until fully dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4-1/3c (to taste) grenadine.

-2 oz gin

-½ oz fresh lemon juice

-1 tbsp jam

Place all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well with ice to break up the jam then pour into a glass.
