Feeling stuck in the past or dealing with career burnout? Are you holding on to something from a past season that is quietly blocking your peace right now? Do you keep romanticizing an old job, a past relationship, or a version of yourself that was actually hurting you? What would change if you finally found the healing to stop looking backward and fully committed to the purpose and season God has you in right now?
Episode Highlights: In this episode of Boundaries over Burnout, I share the moment I realized I was still wearing my old wedding band and the mixed signal it was sending into my new season. I walk through what the Israelites, Elisha, and Nehemiah teach us about letting go of past seasons, overcoming stress, and protecting your peace. Then, I give you a full RCSA framework to audit your own life so you can name the risk, set the control, check with the Spirit, and decide what you are burning this week.

Have you ever brought Jesus into your house on Sunday morning and walked right past Him to check on the meal?
When you are a high-achieving Christian woman searching for burnout recovery, the most dangerous kind of exhaustion is the one everyone praises you for. Your boss promoted you for it. Your church rewarded you for it. Your mama brags about it at the family reunion. Your Bible? It has been collecting dust on the nightstand while you were busy being the strong one for everybody else.
If you have been serving God with everything you have but somehow feel a million miles from Him, this episode is bible encouragement for the woman who is burned out from doing all the right things.
In this episode, I take you into Luke chapter 10 and the story of Martha the high-achieving woman Jesus loved enough to interrupt. I share the moment in my own driveway when I heard Jesus say my name twice and realized I had been performing for Him instead of resting in Him. We talk about the three factories that trained us into the Martha pattern (the Strong Black Woman narrative, the corporate grind, and the church itself), and why the problem was never the serving. It was the proving underneath it.
I also walk you through three corporate-meets-kingdom moves to start recovering the Mary in you this week: how to audit where Jesus has been waiting for you, how to stop asking God to make people help you and start asking Him if the assignment was ever yours, and how to receive rest as your inheritance instead of a reward you have to earn.

Step 3: Share this episode with a high-achieving woman in your life who is burned out from doing all the right things. She needs to hear that she is a daughter, not an employee and that the better part has been waiting for her the whole time.
Have you ever stayed in a situation longer than you should have because you felt obligated by what someone spent on you?
Do you have backup plans in place when you go on a date, or are you depending entirely on his promises?
When is the last time you felt a check in your spirit and ignored it because he seemed nice?
Episode Highlights In this episode, I take you inside a real date gone wrong and show you how spotting narcissist red flags and using risk management saved my peace, my safety, and my sanity. He promised valet, dinner, and the princess treatment. What I got was a drunk man throwing a tantrum because I prioritized setting boundaries and booked my own room. I walk you through a full RCSA audit you can apply to dating, your job, and any situation where a toxic promise is the only thing standing between you and a bad outcome.

Have you ever prayed and felt like nobody was listening?
Is it possible that the silent season you are fighting right now isn't God punishing you, but Him trying to rescue you from your own stress?
When you are exhausted and searching for burnout recovery, feeling abandoned by God can make the isolation even worse.
If you have been hustling for a breakthrough but only hearing silence, this episode offers bible encouragement and a raw look at what happens when we skip rest and go straight for purpose.
In this episode, I open up my personal journal from a season where God went completely quiet. We discuss what that silence taught me about His character, why your anger is a valid prayer, and how obedience is never a transaction.
I also walk you through the RCSA framework to help you audit your spiritual life, set boundaries, and finally tune into the still, small voice you have been too anxious to hear.

Are you noticing burnout symptoms and relying on AI to produce content because you are too exhausted to write it yourself? Overcoming burnout requires honesty about where we are cutting corners. If your authentic voice has been replaced by generic captions, it is time for a new approach to stress management.
In this episode, I get honest about the AI generated book ads I created during a season of extreme fatigue and what they taught me about the difference between using AI as a helpful tool and depending on it entirely.
I prioritized speed and aimed to feel productive without having to do any actual thinking. When I reviewed the final product, it did not look or sound like me, and it failed to convey my actual message. I ended up deleting those ads.
This is the story of what happens when exhaustion dictates your decisions. I am walking you through a simple, practical framework to help you audit your own content, start setting boundaries, and protect your credibility. If you are outsourcing your writing to a machine because you are simply too tired to do the work, this episode is for you.

In this episode I am getting honest about the loneliness of building alone and what I learned about community when I got humble enough to ask for help.
I left a system that overlooked me and the first woman I reached out to who looked like me and talked about sisterhood locked the door from the inside.
She viewed my profile, posted a coaching promo, and never replied. I spent months hinting at what I needed, liking posts hoping someone would notice, mentioning what I was building hoping someone would offer to help. I was too proud to ask directly.
Then a mentor sat down with me over lunch after my layoff and that conversation helped me more than months of silent struggling. When I finally started asking directly and I got more yes answers.
This is the story of the One Seat at the Table mentally we learned in corporate, the moment I stopped trying to be independent and started building real community. I have something to say to both the woman who was ghosted and the woman doing the ghosting.
If you are building alone and bitter about it, this episode is for you and for her.

Are you stuck in a toxic workplace because you are terrified of losing your paycheck?
In this episode, we tackle the functional freeze of burnout, how your stress is physically affecting your family, and why the 'safe' choice might be costing you your future.
If you are providing support for everyone else but struggling to find relief, it is time to prioritize stress management techniques. When you feel too drained to find a supportive community, burnout recovery begins with changing your environment.
In this episode, I share how my severe burnout affected the people around me and how attending a new event ended four months of feeling unable to move forward.
I led a team and failed to realize my stress was transferring to them. The group shifted from confident to anxious, and I initially blamed them before recognizing I was the source. Following a surgery, my cousin told me to recover quickly because she could not handle seeing me unwell.
I realized my exhaustion impacted every person close to me. Later, I attended a writers conference, and being surrounded by people actively pursuing their goals changed my mindset in a single weekend. I also provide bible encouragement by analyzing a specific detail in Mark chapter 4. We look at the other boats in the storm that received peace simply because of their physical proximity to the boat carrying Jesus.
If your stress negatively affects the people you love and you need to change your surroundings, this episode is for you.

In this episode I am sharing what God taught me through growing my first raised bed garden and why every step of planting. The soil I needed, cracking, soaking, burying, darkness, false growth, and waiting. This is exactly what He is doing in your life right now.
I went out and bought a raised bed to grow healthy food for my daughter and me. God used every part of that process to show me what He was doing in my calling. The hole at the bottom that drains excess water. The soil that has to be right before anything gets planted. The seeds that have to be soaked or cracked open before they can grow. The depth of the planting depending on the size of the harvest.
The darkness underground where all the real work happens. The false growth that comes up first and looks real but is not (just like the darnel in Matthew 13 that the enemy plants to look like wheat before the real harvest comes).
I almost gave up staring at dirt thinking nothing was happening while God was building a root system I could not see. This episode will change how you see your waiting season.
If God gave you a dream and you are starting to lose faith because nothing seems to be happening, this episode is for you.

In this episode I am sharing the full story of how burnout almost took me out and what God did when I finally stopped trying to fix it myself.
I once scheduled an elective surgery partly so I would have a medical excuse to rest. I sat in a chair with the heat on, a book in my lap, everything set up for peace, and my mind still would not stop. So I opened my journal and wrote the most desperate prayer of my life. Three days later God answered it in a way I did not see coming.
This is the story of the breaking point, the prayer, the Zoom call where my manager expected tears and got peace, and the choice I had to make when I hit the fork in the road — chase another paycheck or trust the God who just showed up exactly how I asked.
If something is stealing your peace and you are still tolerating it, this episode is for you.
