Plane Crash, Playing Banker, & Big Award! This episode has so many events! We continue my first assignment at Randolph and how I depended on friends. MWR is responsible for both programs and activities across the entire base population; also has the exciting role in major base-wide entertaining events, so there are lots of adventures. In addition, there is more purple rain as well. Yet, even more rainbows with more recognition and awards in that first year! I continue to have amazing mentors and leaders in my career, some of which are emphasized for others.

Name Change & General, Was That YOUR Foot? This episode has me learning about my new job and responsibilities. I change my name for the fourth and fifth time, make some great friends, and some lieutenant antics.
This is the start of what will become not only the greatest career of my life; it would provide opportunities that I would never have had the chance to experience had I not returned to the Air Force.

Commissioned! & A Call To Action, This episode finishes up the time at Officer Training School with a special guest, Colonel Ken Bryson (USAF, ret) who was in my class with his perspective. I get my assignment information and we graduate! The Call to Action is important as The Boy in the Trash Can; we have several recent headlines of infants in a similar situation. We can and must do more to help save these infants and I hope you will join in this quest.

#25 - Officer Training School. This episode sadly speaks to a baby thrown in a dumpster. Unlike me, it was not along time ago in a land far away. It was in the US, a week ago. The baby was found alive, though critical. Then, this episode takes me back into the Air Force and a second career as I embark on Officer Training School. A couple of antics and some help on the firing range. It's the start to my second career that would take me to both challenging and rewarding adventure.

#24 - More Chi Chi's, An Intruder, & Off to OTS: This episode takes me back to the Hampton Chi Chi's, and then a surprise stint in Richmond. I'm accepted to OTS, and not before we have an intruder in our home! It's a roller-coaster ride as I finish the two years out of the Air Force.

#23 - A Bigoted Customer and Two Moves. This episode is a little short because I pulled my back earlier this week, so please bear with me. This episode continues my career at Chi Chi's in Hampton and a move as a plan for upward mobility. A story how I dealt with a bigoted customer.
This episode is dedicated to Javier, a dedicated dishwasher who took pride in his job.

#22 - Grandmothers and Chi Chi's! In this episode, I'll share some stories with grandmothers and experiences in the first year or so of Chi Chi's. I hope you'll find some humor, leadership lessons, and unique experiences from the early 1980s. Over the holidays, we had a nice number of listeners and that was so wonderful including adding the 33d state, Oregon. The podcast keeps growing and I thank all the listeners!

#21 - With Love to Barbara Ann Holton Terwilliger, 1935-1983. 1983 was a major year in my life. So many rainbows and three purple rain, rather thunderstorms. It was one of the most turbulent year of my adult life. I leave the Air Force, loose my grandfather and Mom, and earn the first three academic degrees.
Come on the journey to see how my life is turned upside down, and then we will explore the next chapters together.
This episode is dedicated to everyone I note in the podcast because each had a profound impact on how things turned out for me.
This is the last episode for 2022 - and I'll be back in 2023! Have a wonderful holiday season and see you all in January!

#20 - Zipping Through School and An Adoption Surprise. As a listener warning, this episode contains content which some may find disturbing.
The episode updates where I am in advancing in the Air Force and mostly on how I earned my undergraduate degree on hyper-drive. Additionally, you’ll hear about how two of my adopted siblings are reunited with their natural sister. There is a lot happening in this point in my life and you’ll need your running shoes.
