#13 - First Lesson in AF Leadership! This episode finishes my training at Basic Military Training at Lackland AFB and moves on to technical training at Lowry AFB. My first role in leadership comes.

#12 -The Other Left & Did I Really Nap? This episode has my arrival in San Antonio and the start of a packed six weeks of Basic Military Training. In addition to sharing my journal, it will also give you a perspective of how military training was in the 1970s for a fairly naive farm boy from rural New York. While it was rewarding and shaped my Air Force career, there were some mis-steps to be sure!
