Jesus’ resurrection gives the believer great hope in the last day. But is that the only hope it gives. When Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life,” He intended to give hope to His disciples in this life. His words give hope to us that same hope today,

More than once, Jesus used the phrase, “I am...” to describe a characteristic of His identity and ministry. Let’s begin a series of I Am lessons by thinking about the great blessings we enjoy because Jesus is the Light of the World.
