There has been a long break with this Brain Don't Fail Me podcast show and along with that our current series with the Moses Bible study.. so if you have not seen any new releases you have not missed out. However, today changes that and a new lesson is ready for you to listen to. In today's episode, we are now being introduced to the famous, or infamous, plagues of God sent upon the Egyptians because of the Pharaoh refusing to listen to Moses and Aaron. The first plague is released and we will take a look into the heart of Pharaoh and understand what pride and an inflated ego can do. Enjoy today's episode!

Journey with me so you can become who God created you to be!
Our study on Moses continues! In this episode, we are taking a look at God having to be somewhat repetitive with Moses when giving Moses specific commands. And not because Moses did not hear Him the first time. How many times has God needed to be repetitive with us as well? It continues to comfort my heart how much I seem to relate to Moses in these ways. Enjoy this ninth lesson of our Bible study! Blessings!

Journey with me so you can become who God created you to be!
We are about knee deep into our Bible study on Moses and the deliverance of God's people. In our last lesson we ended on a bit of a cliff hanger, where Moses laments to God about having been obedient to Him in going to the Pharaoh. In this eighth lesson, we will read God's response to the cry and angst of Moses. We can learn a lot about God's heart and patience with how He responds to Moses. Let this lesson encourage you!

Journey with me so you can become who God created you to be!
Welcome to the seventh lesson with our study on Moses from the Old Testament. We just learned how Moses and Aaron's first request to allow the Israelites a "leave of absence" from their work and go celebrate a festival unto the Lord out in the wilderness was denied by the Pharaoh. Well, in this lesson we will see this same Pharaoh continue responding to their request with more harshness, revealing much about him as a ruler. How will the Israelites respond and how will Moses take it? Your Hopeful Sister is ready for you to join this interesting, yet thought provoking lesson!

What happens to our hearts when we realize that God has been listening and hearing us throughout our struggles and valley seasons the entire time? Your Hopeful Sister is taking another nose dive into our study on Moses in the Bible, sharing how the enslaved Hebrews responded to God answering their cries for help with worship. This lesson also has us finally looking at the first approach before the Pharaoh by Moses and Aaron who ask him to allow the Israelites to leave into the wilderness for a festival. Enjoy this sixth lesson of our study on Moses!

Journey with me so you can become who God created you to be!
This fifth lesson of our Moses study has us facing some baffling verses that Your Hopeful Sister bravely attempts to bring a better understanding, or at least provide possible different explanations that will help us understand. Moses has decided to take his family back to Egypt in obedience to God. We take a look at how difficult this had to have been for Moses, who had many years prior fled Egypt for his life. Obedience to the Lord is not always an easy route, but it is the most rewarding. Enjoy this lesson and be blessed!

Journey with me so you can become who God created you to be!
Within the dialogue between Moses and the Lord, Moses is apprehensive to go to Egypt and be used to deliver God's people from the Pharaoh. God responds with showing Moses the authority He has given him in order to be such a powerful instrument. The staff within his hands is a symbol of that authority, his shepherding staff. This will be our fourth lesson in our Moses study here on the Brain Don't Fail Me Podcast Show, and Your Hopeful Sister is delighted to have you here with us. Enjoy!

Welcome to lesson three with Moses! We are now getting into the exciting part of Moses' story. God revealing Himself to Moses through a burning bush that is not actually affected by the fire that is consuming it is beyond amazing. Not only that, but God calling Moses to be an instrument of deliverance for God's people after 40 years living outside of Egypt has to be a complete shocker to our main character as well. Join Your Hopeful Sister for another thrilling episode of our Bible study on Moses and be encouraged in your own life as a result!

Diving right in with excitement, Your Hopeful Sister, will be sharing the second lesson on our study of Moses. We will visit the birth of Moses and all that surrounded it, as well as, what his upbringing entailed and how this shaped who he was. A great takeaway from this particular part to our study in this sixth season of "The Brain Don't Fail Me" podcast show, is how despite Moses failing miserably to a calling God had placed in his heart to be a rescuer of His people, the Hebrews enslaved in Egypt, God still plans to use him further along in his life. Let this episode encourage you to fully walk out a direction the Lord gave you despite your own shortcomings!

How and why were the Israelites enslaved after Joseph was used to bring them to Egypt to escape a great famine? Why does this Pharaoh perhaps not know about or care to know about the ruling of Joseph as second in command to an earlier Pharaoh? These questions will be covered and more!
