The plan was to have Ovidio and Omar back on the show but because of a late start time, Omar wasn’t able to attend. The title “What’s Your Take On It O” is intended to take a shot at Omar for canceling and still highlight the importance of Omar’s opinion, so much so that his absence didn’t stop us from asking for his take on the topics discussed. During the show, Ovidio and G discuss the presidential debate, the importance of being yourself when it comes to relationships, the affect that the guests of the show have had in our lives, and the masks Ovidio wears. Police officers are not suppose to hurt. Most of the time, they are expected to take care of one call and respond to the other. Some of those calls can be very traumatic and affect them in a way they may not realize. September is Suicide Prevention Month and it is only fitting to end this month with an episode discussing Suicide and Mental Health awareness, particularly when it comes to first responders. In this episode, Nate who is a former police officer, accompanied by his fiancée Sharon, tells his powerful story of when he was in a very dark place in his life and attempted suicide. By telling his story, Nate is hoping to raise awareness when it comes to the mental health of first responders and encourage others who may be hurting to reach out for help before they do something that cannot be undone. In this episode, G welcomes Christian back on the show (on two days notice) after Ash and G experienced some last minute scheduling issues. With no general outline in mind, the title "Shooting From The Hip", is appropriate and demonstrates the ability of Christian and G to improvise and go with the flow of the conversation.
