  • S3E2: How to Define Success on Your Own Terms
    So many of us struggle with taking the first steps in the direction of our dreams. It's not that we don't know what we want, we are just uncertain if it's the right time, if we are truly ready and will it work out. On this episode I chat with my guests about taking big leaps of faith and pivoting or plunging into the career and life of that they truly desire.

    But as you know, here we operate in reality and as our guests share, doing the grunt work may not have been part of the dream but it is part of the process. My guests share how to recognize your inner voice and act on it, ways to build authentic relationships to further your goals and how to define success on your own terms.

    Jordan Fuller
    @jordangfuller on all social media!
    Born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, Jordan returned to his home city after completing his Health Sciences degree at Arizona State University. Prior to his career in real estate, he established his sales experience in the medical field.

    Jordan switched gears to real estate in 2018 where his focus became primarily on Chicago's rental market. He grew extensive knowledge of the Chicago market while closing over 75 rentals in his first year. From there, Jordan became a buyers agent, where he helped many first time and repeat buyers purchase their dream homes. Through that, Jordan has been able to maintain close and personal relationships with all of his clients. Jordan has demonstrated the unique ability to build his business largely through the means of social media. His hard work and attention to detail is reflected in his many positive reviews and feedback.

    Outside of real estate, Jordan is a basketball and soccer fan. Fitness and nutrition are very important to him, and he enjoys waking up early and exercising before work each day. When he's not working, you can usually find him running with his 5-year-old husky Xena–who sheds A LOT, watching sports, and enjoying Chicago's awesome restaurants!

    Liku Midoshi
    @anasalawfirm www.anasalawfirm.com
    Liku Madoshi is more than just an attorney. As someone with multiple entrepreneurial endeavors, she knows what it means to need the right people on your team. Liku left her pursuits to work at big law firms to start a modern legal practice that would meet the needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses who need a reliable attorney on their team as their businesses flourish.

    As an attorney, Liku understands the importance of having your legal ducks in a row and how detrimental it can be to your business if you don’t have a solid legal foundation to protect your brand, your company, and ultimately your legacy.

    As an entrepreneur, Liku knows first hand the value of having a team of professionals that do what they are trained to do so business owners can focus on executing their vision and scaling their growth.

  • S2E18: How to Design Your Life
    In this episode of the podcast I speak with two successful entrepreneurs about how they make it work. Like for real for real. From starting with no plan and making that leap to scaling and structuring your time properly. My guests talk through their fears, beliefs and their futures to inspire you to do the same.

    Growing up, founder Jacqueline Carrington, never saw images of nail polish colors reflected on brown skin tones, which made her skip nail polish all together growing up. It wasn’t until her 3-year old daughter Monroe, at the time, started coming back from visits with her GiGi (grandma) with her nails painted, that Jacqueline had a newfound interest. She founded People of Color Beauty just two years ago and has already grown the business into nail salons and retail stores not to mention being featured in high profile media spotlighting her work.

    Bianca Beasley is an entrepreneur, small business owner, speaker, full time mom and wife.

    Bianca’s business resume includes multiple business ventures. Paint and Jrink, a local art studio located in New Orleans. All Things Peace, all natural goods boutique and online. The Capsule, retail shop located in New Orleans housing art, sessions, retail items and more.

    Additionally, Bianca hosts empowerment events for her community along with speaking engagements.
