In this episode, Jeannette talks to Lindsay Garvey-Jones and Julie Nunes. Two inspiring leaders from the travel sector. They talk about, the often-taboo subject of menopause. Something that impacts society as a whole as well as the women who are suffering from the, often debilitating, symptoms of menopause.
They do this partly by sharing their own experiences and what is helping them. Including how the menopause has impacted them physically, mentally, and emotionally. In the process of doing that, they discuss, sex during menopause, HRT, herbal remedies, diet, exercise, and sleep. Including talking about the things anyone can do to support themselves while their body adapts. They also discuss how business owners can make, often small changes, to support their employees better. Making it easier for women to continue to work despite their menopausal symptoms.
