Welcome to 'The 10 & 2 Challenge!' This episode is less than (2) minutes long. Why? Who does that? We are a community that is built on the premise of bravery. Stillness in our opinion is one of the bravest things you will ever do. When you are learning to drive they tell you, "Put your hands at 10 and 2" on the steering wheel. It's because at 10 and 2 we have the optimal amount of control over the vehicle. So we are collectively setting our alarms for 10am and 2pm. When your alarm goes off, find this episode and hit play. Inside you will find a simple prayer of gratitude and reflection. This beautiful audio experience was built by Adam Agin of Sonic Stories.
We believe these 4 minutes in your day can become a catalyst for radical joy, presence, and peace. Who doesn't want that? Enjoy friends.

On this episode, Jessie and I sat down to talk about the power of taking micro pauses in the day. This practice has impacted our marriage, our parenting, and even our friendships in significant ways. Jessie opens up about how not taking breaks and slowing down has affected her in the past. I [Pedro] shared how a couple of minutes of pausing each day has been transformational in my journey towards healing and awareness. At the end of this episode, we issue a challenge to our entire BRAVE community. Guys, I hate keeping secrets so I'm just going to tell you what it is. We partnered with our friend, Adam Agin at Sonic Stories to create a one of a kind audio experience to help all of us pause twice a day. So, set two alarms on your phone Monday - Sunday. One at 10am and the other at 2pm. Each time the alarm goes off, take (2) minutes to sit still and hit play on the audio (which can be found anywhere you listen to our podcast).
We can't wait to hear your feedback on this practice of renewal, reflection, and peace.

On this episode, Jessie had a bone to pick with minimalism. Our culture has become obsessed with minimizing clutter, minimizing excess, and organizing our lives to death. We all know those can be really good things to do and honestly we're all for them! Maybe the question to ask is: Why is it that we're quick to clean up the outside of our lives and not the inside? Jessie does a great job helping us think about minimalism in a new way. We talked about minimizing noise, desires, and distractions. We even equip you with some practical tools for your marriage, parenting, and business. Our goal in this conversation is to help you amplify meaning in your life. We even created a FREE GUIDE BOOK for you as you chase meaning -------> 3 STEP GUIDE TO DOING BRAVE WORK.

On this episode, I sat down with Adam Agin. Adam is a deeply creative artist, a CEO, and an amazing friend to me! Adam's music has been featured alongside major brands such as Coors, Dick’s Sporting Goods, HBO network, and KIA to name a few. His bravest work has taken place in the healing of his own story. We sat down to talk about, 'The Discipline of Denial.' I loved talking about self-imposed micro suffering, which is a secret key to crushing your goals in 2023. Adam shares some absolute gold from his journey and I know it will help you do more Brave Wrk. If you haven't already, go snag the free '3 Step Guide to Doing Brave Wrk.' www.pedrolatorre.com/you

On this episode, I sat down with my neighbor, Nathan Jones. He and his family are Christian Missionaries. No matter what you believe about God, I think we can all agree that being a missionary requires bravery! Nathan and his family are reaching an unreached people group right in the heart of the Bible Belt. We talked about him learning a new language, staying available to serve, and the scope of his teams work. This episode is inspiring on so many levels and I am so glad we set aside the time to chat. On this episode, I was driving and decided to hit record. I have been wrestling with the fact that we measure everything in culture. Have you noticed this? We measure our tv's, our square footage, and even our waist size. Everything seems more concrete when we can quantify it. However, the things that matter most in life are very hard to quantify. Can you measure how much you love your spouse? Can you measure how much saddness you feel that you haven't found a spouse? Can you measure that feeling of being seen, heard, or celebrated by your friends? You see, the things that we value the most are difficult to measure. What happens if we don't find a way to reconcile this reality? That's what I will explore in today's short episode.
