Starring Jonathan Pryce as Sam Lowry, it follows his journey through the retro-future dystopian world that is as oppressive as anything Orwell could write. Along the way, he attempts to find himself and discover the meaning of his fantastical dreams. It's a film that stands alone as a fantastic re-imagining of a classic story while being its own thing.
